I'd recommend, start with you '' helping hand'' left for righties, UNDER the ball, to get the weight , so your throwing arm is completely relaxe at the start..
and I'd say .. 2nd, 3rd arrows?... you can play anywhere on the lane really, it's a matter of style, ball, speed, rev, coverstock .. but for beginner, yeah, 2nd arrow is kinda best according to me, not far from the head pin, and away from the gutter :-) throw straight with a beginner ball.. and adjust from the result..
Well I got my widow drilled and hopefully since we have had a blizzard in Ohio I will be able to get some video of it Monday during or before league night that day.
Well I have a pretty straight forward release and I don't throw the ball way too hard like most people do when they try to hook it. I did purchase it btw and should get the bwp tomorrow when I get it drilled I will have to make a video of it and post it.
Congrats on the victory. Yes I like Chris I got his autograph and my favorite bowler Tony Reyes. We split two and two. With the tips about releasing thumb first I bowled over my average all three games. Thinking about purchasing tonight the Black Widow Pearl.
Nice, I've seen the Black Widow Pearl in action. It has great length for finesse bowlers. I'm more of a speed and power bowler so I'd probably need to slow my swing down to keep it from skidding down the lane too much. If your lanes have a decent amount of oil on them and you have some speed on your release, I'd recommend the Columbia Resurgence. It's pricey, but let me tell you, best hits I've ever seen and it is extremely forgiving hitting the head pin straight on.
Great instructional video with great background music. Thanks for the Don Johnson quote I went to the Don Johnson Buckeye State classic today and saw Chris Barne's victory.
Thanks! I try to give back what I've absorbed. I think great music helps the learning process. That's cool that you got to see Barnes. Chris Barnes is a very talented bowler. I had a victory of my own tonight where my team has taken over first place in my league with only 7 weeks to go! It was a really good feeling. Hope the tutorial helps!
