I thought I had hemoroids I went to a colorectal surgeoon and he informed me that I had a tumor rectal cancer.
I have finished Radiation therapy and Chemo they both worked I am now in remission but have to decide whether to have it the cancer removed this will cause me to have an colostomy bag which I do not want.
ask an established expert on the best decision. there are ways to keep cancer dormant with diet & supplements, & cutting out coffee, nicotine, alcohols, & toxins. if you end up with the c-bag its a new routine, but its not the end of the world, & you will know that the risk has been removed.
I was mis-diagnosed by 2 emergency room Dr's, MY personal DR also, THEN had a colonoscopy in June of 2008, HE even said I had a Hemmorhoid. Well January 23rd I was told by another specialist I had a TUMOR, they did a bi-opsy, and it is Cancer. So a colonoscopy doesn't always work, it is according to the DR that performs it!!! Mine told me that I had a Hemmorhoid, and I said Thank goodness I thought it was a tumor and was Cancer, he said and I QUOTE "You don't get Cancer that low it's RARE"
I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy today and the doctors found nothing. Everybody should have this done; considering the diets Americans have now (no/low fiber, high fat).
