Midge asked me to catch her a Char. She was carrying a fishing pole around so I'm thinking it's a fish. Come to find out, I was right lol. So it's a small/medium shadow and it's by the first waterfall? Or is it by any waterfall?

Try looking in or around the base of the waterfall for a small/medium shadow. if you didnt know this, hope it helps
