  • Me want GT35r in my FD every time I watch this clip :). So much awesome.

  • love it

  • WOOOOO! fucking oath! thats some extreme power. 2nds grabs no traction. WHATTAA BEASSSSSSTT!

  • What size and sort of tread are you running on the rear in this clip? I noticed you have a fair amount of grip into 3rd!

  • @Jarmezrocks this video was with BGFs drag radials 255 there is NO GRIP what so ever until 4th. I was not laying into the throttle completely so I would get some traction. See my other GT35 videos and youll see it will spin until I let up,, there is one of just the tire marks.

  • @nitrofed7 lol yea I wouldn't see how you could get any grip on 255 :/ i am using 265/35ZR18 @ 380whp and I still loose grip going into second lol

  • what size injectors u have? and is it 501rwhp with race gas?

  • Which hotside was the GT35R? 1.06A/R?

  • Built by luke : ) hahah

  • Fuck yeah man.

  • LOL! scratchin' his face in 0:14 (^_^), Great Vidoe man!

    RX7 4EVER!

  • shit that things nice as fuck what turbo?

  • What exhaust housing are you running

  • the reason why rotaries spool faster is because is pushes out exahaust faster

  • Could the quicker reving motor also be down to the fact that it rotates around a central point and therefore acts more like an electric motor rather than having to exert rotational to recipricating (piston engine) ?

  • @40psi1

a bit wrong, but you have the right idea.

The exhaust pulses are much stronger and hotter, and have a direct patch to the turbo.

a 35R on a rotary especially with a .82/.84 hotside is really responsive.

  • @rotor13 just got my car dynoed, 18psi gt35 82 made 270+rwkw, quite responsive considering its 5" intake lol. dun woz bout my username ive got a s5 13bt

  • @rotor13 what would you say about a 35r with a .70A/R compressor and 1.06A/R exhaust?

  • @Tj1056

you'll sacrifice response for more top-end power

  • @40psi1 They dont push exhaust out faster, it's cuz theres 2 rotaries that fire 3 times a turn instead of 4 pistons that fire every 2 strokes of the piston

  • It seems rotaries have much less lag than equivalent sized piston engines. I wonder if it is due to the more energetic/hot exhaust gasses?

  • nope all about porting and tuning to be honest and if you have to money for a BB turbo then spool time will be much less

  • na dude hes right rx7s do spool fast that most piston motors. think about it u have pretty much a 6 cylinder but take the 6 combustion chambers an make them come out of two hole. mine spool up super fast an i have a t4 ar1.00 on my rx7 an it still spools faster than any pistion motor ive seen

  • yep dats true and sum pistons need nitous to spool there turbo..........bottles are for babies

  • @XR4turbo no its because it doesnt have pistons that go up and down it just go in circles

  • @XR4turbo

    This is true.

  • i love the rotorheads' definition of "light throttle just easing into it". love the car bro...i have a feeling i'm goin with a GT35 when i finally get my re-enlistement bonus money next year

  • @fdarmy Hell yeah. Good luck and thank you for our Freedom. Be careful over seas if they send you.

  • Never owned a rotary, but if i owned any turbo'd piston engined car, 4 or 6, that drove like this id be so happy.....

  • BEAST!!!

  • So awesome!

  • holycrap. now that is exactly how a 7 should sound. amazingly sick spool and strong ewg. what turbo is that?

  • nvm. in the title.

  • Very nice man. You had a camera mount or someone was with you?

  • Someone was with me holding the camera. Im not from NJ im from NY. Etown is the nearest track for me.

  • @theguy1224 lol yea you can tell there is a bit of movement for a camera mount

  • niceeeee!

    tell me the mods :)

  • Where in Jersey are you from, recognized E-town from one of your other videos. I love 7s, wish I bought the '93 R1 I was lookin at... too bad the owner was a jerk off.

  • k so what turbo what rotors stock rear end??

  • light throttle + lmao.

    rapid man.

  • looks really quick!!
