u ppl should go listen to Littile willie john...i still say hes an uncrowned king of R&B...im 20 but love these songs much better than the shit they playin these days...well RIP good ol music.
Philadelphia, South West, St. Francis de Sales, the 1960's, Pop's Corner, The Pit, Magnolia Ave. Wildwood, Frogman on the beach,'How about making me dinner?', DooWop, Motown. What a wonderful life.
Shortridge, North Central, Broad Ripple, Cathedral, St. Agnus Borky's, The Ron De Vu, Northwood, the TP....................hold me back....Can I have an AMEN????
Jacquie baby your telling like the way it was! When this song became a hit in July 1961 I was a teenager at 13 years old. American Bandstand was still kick-in it in those days and occasionally we would see a black artist or group. But God has provided us with some wonderful memories. Keep the faith Jacquie baby this music will never die!
Yes, these were the best years for a lot of people, and a lot of us wish we could go back to the Golden Era or like I call it, days of innocence; Unfortunately, we're stuck in a world of perversity, profanity, trash, selfishness, vice.... Our youth are into this horrible hard rock and rap music and have no idea what real music is like; where people are more interested in being politically correct than to be decent human beings.... This is the era of me, myself, & I, and heck with everyone else!!
After watching countless music videos tonight, this is the perfect song to dedicate to the man I've loved all my life, the man who I lost years ago, and by the Grace of God, found again, and after spending 3 wonderful months with him, I realize that I can't live without him one more day, that he's the only man that has ever made me feel like a real woman, that I'll never love another!!!
first time i had to chance to hear this was back in 79 during the kbpi sunday morning show in denver. Us acolytes would skip out during the sermon and smoke and listen to the kbpi show.. Thanks for posting

First heard this from a K-Tel record when I was 8 years old in the early seventies...still sounds good. I think that was about when I learned how to lift the needle on a record player to replay this song over and over again...
this reminds me of my Gramma... she used to listen to an oldies CD that had this song on it... *sniff* *sniff* she died of pancriotic cancer... i miss her so much...
i was so glad to find this cut on youtube.i was afraid it wouldn't be on here.i remember when this song was popular, but i don't remember the year.i think it was about 1961.can you post the year it was recorded.thanks for posting this great song.
Little Caesar & the Romans were an American musical group from Los Angeles active briefly in the 1960s.
The group began recording in 1959 as The Cubans, but changed their name to The Upfronts after the political crisis in Cuba. They had three hits: the first and biggest was the nostalgic tune "Those Oldies but Goodies (Remind Me of You)", a #9 Pop and #28 R&B hit in 1961.
This is an oldie but goodie! xD

This is a great classic song, but his syntax is off. He sings, "Those oldies but goodies, REMINDS me of you." It should be "REMIND me of you."

standard for intro & outro for many radio stations .....
