The concept model in this video had better stock wheels then the current Camaro. In my opinion the car is alright but it seems like it's missing something. I would also say that yeah there's 100's of Mustangs,Camaro's and Challengers/Chargers every where you turn but the majority of them are V6 base models so buying a car that every one has doesn't matter to me if you're buying the V8 performance model.

Sweden, you would just have to check my channel. We have pretty good salary here. I could afford having a V8 by a long shot but I still don't see a V6 as an economy model. Economy models usually are small straight 4 engines or sometimes straight 5. Like the Volvo V50 DRIVe model, pulls 0.47 liters in 10km so that will take you 1050km or 652.439 in your miles on a 50/13 liter/gallon tank. That is very good and that I call economy model.

Yes we do. The V8 in the Volvo S80 is one of the most fuel efficient V8's there is, and it was developed by some Asian guys I think. I don't see it as economy drive though. Then again, you can never get more fuel efficient with a bigger engine than a smaller one no matter how you put it. Don't you think that Camaro would get alot further with a straight 5 or 4? Maybe those engines is not what Camaro wants in their car since it must be big and bad for them but still :)
@VuDu4000 The idea is an effective spray pattern. Bigger engines produce more torque, with the spark/timing spray pattern, a larger engine that produces more torque can move more weight with a smaller gear ratio, meaning also a lower rpm for highway mpg.
My old 2005 Impala, delivered 36mpg highway out of a 3350pnd body, due to the long 2.86 fdr. Thats with nothing but free flowing intake and exhaust. No tune to increase fuel economy which would have been the next step.

Interesting thing about this car (in the production version you get at your dealers now) is that even the V6 has been massaged to crank out 304 net horsepower. It's the same engine they put in the Cadillac CTS. Beats the Mustang 6 by 94 horses, only 11 less than the Mustang GT V8. It'll be interesting to see if the 6 or the 8 (which uses the base 400-horse Corvette engine) will sell best.

i didnt like the old body style(2000 model) it looked like a very pointy dodge stratus to me. thats why i went for the 1970 chevy camaro instead of getting a 2001 model. the 1970 style is my favorite. if i was to go with the new one i would have to go all out and get the SS model.
They should at least make a version that had optional hideaway headlights. The original Camaro RS and I think the SS from 69 both had that. That would be cool to see that done on a modern car. Don't see it that much anymore since they killed off the Firebird. Either way, this is the best performing car of the three. Mustang is slow, has less power, live axle. Challenger is cool, but bigger, and fatter. Not the best looking in that color. But I wouldn't keep in a NEW factory color anyway.

Lol, its far from retro looking. Not exactly a great looking car by any stretch. Too bad they did not stay with a body style that looked more like the original retro drawings. I'm sure some die hard Camaro folks will have no choice and have to own one but anyone looking for a much cooler late model North American hot rod will sure take a serious look at the Challenger and Mustang. Hopefully GM will make the future model Camaros better looking. Time to wake up GM!!

I wanted the mod package with the ZR1, 6.2L supercharged corvette engine, oversized Brembo brakes, etc, but for $125K, I could just get a ZR1 anyway! ASANTI, and forgiato have nice wheels & grills and body kits and there are lots of places like tomhenryracing that can add vroom to the engine. The duPont Registry magazine has some that have already been pre'modded; this will save you $ cause they do several at once.

i didnt like the old body style(2000 model) it looked like a very pointy dodge stratus to me. thats why i went for the 1970 chevy camaro instead of getting a 2001 model. the 1970 style is my favorite. if i was to go with the new one i would have to go all out and get the SS model.

They should at least make a version that had optional hideaway headlights. The original Camaro RS and I think the SS from 69 both had that. That would be cool to see that done on a modern car. Don't see it that much anymore since they killed off the Firebird. Either way, this is the best performing car of the three. Mustang is slow, has less power, live axle. Challenger is cool, but bigger, and fatter. Not the best looking in that color. But I wouldn't keep in a NEW factory color anyway.

Lol, its far from retro looking. Not exactly a great looking car by any stretch. Too bad they did not stay with a body style that looked more like the original retro drawings. I'm sure some die hard Camaro folks will have no choice and have to own one but anyone looking for a much cooler late model North American hot rod will sure take a serious look at the Challenger and Mustang. Hopefully GM will make the future model Camaros better looking. Time to wake up GM!!

I wanted the mod package with the ZR1, 6.2L supercharged corvette engine, oversized Brembo brakes, etc, but for $125K, I could just get a ZR1 anyway! ASANTI, and forgiato have nice wheels & grills and body kits and there are lots of places like tomhenryracing that can add vroom to the engine. The duPont Registry magazine has some that have already been pre'modded; this will save you $ cause they do several at once.

@Mr007Hammond - Lil Ham, I like to give all the benefit of the doubt no matter how ridiculous their proclamations! The Cygnet has a Toyota iQ powerplant I believe but this is the only Aston Martin trim with an atypical engine. If the DB9, or any other Aston Martin for that matter has an engine under the bonnet that is anything other than an Aston Martin then please provide the link, video or document location which says otherwise since it is not on their spec sheet at the Aston Martin home site!

I also created a new e-mail and told them I was a 14 year old boy from Washington state. I won't get a reply till Tuesday though; we have a long weekend in Canada and it is a stat holiday on Monday.

I suggest to you that you misheard what was said for they often use sarcasm on that program.
