Can't wait for my husband to see this. Last week he left with the National Guard to Georgia about to go Iraq, should make him proud to be from Muncie. Just one more reason for us to leave this town when he gets home.

I lived in Muntucky from 01 - 05 and I can see that it is still the same hick town!!

When we arrived there most of the locals warned that Delaware County is the most corrupt county in IN.

From the looks of the people on this video the buffet restaurants are still quite popular!!

Years ago when as a kid, I used to hear Muncie referred to as little Chicago....nothing ever changes in Delaware County...If BSU ever pulls out like GM and Borg Warner...we can call it little third world Hati because there will be nothing for anybody.

That and the property taxes with that rediculous " round about " at the end of Walnut st, right at that RR tracks. Our streets are going to hell but, downtown is more important....

First, learn to spell ridiculous. Second, understand that the money from the roundabout had NOTHING to do with property taxes and instead was state money earmarked for such beautification projects. Third, the streets are going to hell, but again the vast majority of the money for this comes from the state and is based in part on the registered vehicles in Delaware County. Problem is, thousands of cars in Muncie belong to BSU students who aren't registered in the county.

That city council should be hang their collective heads in shame for their oppressive abuse of the gavel. I sincerely hope this is but the first break of light in the dawning of a new day of Muncie politics. Let's get a little control on spending down there, do away with the Good-Ole-Boy system that has dominated for far too long.

Kudos to Sgt. Linda Cook for not becoming a goon. Good for her for recognizing free speech, the need for accountability, and everything that makes this country great.

Nice work on posting this. If it wasn't for the use of video cameras and the internet, stuff like this would get swept under the rug. I spent a good 10+ years of my life in Muncie, and still have family there.

More and more, the nickname I gave it 'Hazzard County' has become more and more fitting as light of corruption comes to light.
