honestly the only real practical use i could see this for would be to add realistic spray/blood-splatter on a wall behind a subject. post production really fills the void to use squibs these days... unless of course you have a real budget. even then, you have to weight out time VS money. post production VFX aren't really all that cheaper. anyways interesting alternative to industry flash powder.

@ConsigAndroid You can easily tell the difference. You need to be very advanced to achieve these kind of realistic effects in after effects. Especially when the blood interacts with the environment, like wall splatters. Motion tracking is very tedious and will most likely not yield results such as these.
