Case Closed (also known by its Japanese name "Detective Conan") is a really great detective anime that has healthy dose of comedy. It's been airing (in Japan) since '96, and it's been great ever since, albeit formulaic at times. It's one of my top 5 favorite anime, and I highly recommend it.

I thought they were :) Shuffle! was my first romantic comedy anime. I feel the same way....One/Two seasons is too short :/ I never heard of Case Closed. I've started watching Ouran Host CLub and thats pretty good too. But if you liked School Rumble, Shuffle!, and Fruits Basket, then I strongly suggest you watch Clannad. I'm not afraid to admit that I almost cried watching that. Its funny, but also really touching.
