  • I like what you do I just want you to turn the bass up

  • Hi! I just bought my first bass today, new Fender MIA Highway One Jazz.. I'll join the music team in our church next month so I'm preparing now. I like your effects.. what produced that "fat sustain".. and that "trebly-chorus" feel? Thanks!

  • Thank you very much for this lesson, my brother in Christ! Though I have been trying in so many ways to grasp the 'arpeggios' in a way that I could it seemed that I could never hold on to somthing that would stick to me, but this has, and I'm very thankful for it!

  • Good lesson! Thanks.

What kind of bass is that?

  • I thought the C major was 1 3 5 but it sounds like you are leaving the 5 out and playing the octave of 1 so instead of 1 3 5 octave 1 you are playing 1 3 octave 1 right?

  • Playing is good, lyrics are fantasy.

  • great playing brother

  • What a tasteful playing, wont to be like you some day...........How do you I go about that.........?

  • @Mackg15 Im coming up on 15 years now. I wasted a lot of time I wish I wouldn't have. Did you see our "How He Loves" bass shed?

  • Im confused, Why is the Bm played (arpeggioed) between the C major7 and the Am? Whats the theory there? thnx

  • @speckofdust21 In the Key of C, Bm (or Bm7b5) is the chord that goes between C and Am.

C, Dm, Em, F, G or (G7), Am, Bm. Play those ascending in order, you will hear how it works.
