Tupac was dynamic, so he's very difficult to pin down on an actual point of view. My own view is that there are only one or two insights of practical value in this book. But I'm not a ruler of men either.... :D

Depending on what you call metal of course. There are plenty of bands I guess you could consider metal that all involve singing and singing very well with a diverse octave range. But for the most part..they scream nowadays, and screaming can't have a key realistically speaking. Your opinion is of course based on your personal experience with metal I guess, but to say metal 'comes' from singing out of key is just...wrong.
