@astrolifter and y u going off on ppl I was just saying she did steroids cause she run real fast but idk everybody thought she did them so thats what I was told but dnt say im uneducated cause u dnt know me and thats offensive.
@Awbooshacka13 You're right, I went overboard so I erased my comment. She probably did do some performance enhancing drugs, but so did a lot of other competitors. Did she ever fail a drug test?
What were the other competitors times? Were the times personal records and "too fast" as well for them? Obviously this data is important when making judgement of this particuliar race.
@cegtown I believe so. In one heat Gwen Torrence ran a 10.78--of course it was wind-aided. Carl Lewis ran a 9.78 in his final--wind-aided. This race was definitely wind-aided.
She was dooping!!!! Sorry to sound like a bitch but if she was alive they would have caught that shit and put it in a bag!! People like her took away the dreams of other hard working athletes... Would love if she was a live for her to do a Marion Jones and FESS UP!!!!!!

Carmelita Jeter is just too big and bulky to break FloJos record; while FloJo was certainly muscular, she had an incredible lightness and grace to her running. Carmelita is like a canal horse compared to FloJo.
I'm sorry... but that just doesn't happen, you can get drugs that get your body to produce extra red blood cells, and this makes the blood thicker... this means it is more strain in the pump... thing what you want but... come on
@tobsterrox123 Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It's a condition that many fit athletes suffer from. One minute you're doing great, and soon after you literally drop dead. It's a disease that can be symptom free; it's not discovered until autopsy.
I don't want to speculate on FloJo's death, but just because she died at a young age doesn't automatically mean she was using illicit drugs.
She was fine fine fine. I certainly hope she wasnt using. But the fact that every other track record has been broken since makes you wonder. Male and female. Even the dopers later on couldnt catch this.
The ultimate outrage. Even the US commentators are dubious. "Greater than Ben Johnson's WR 100" indeed! And almost everyone knows it. FloJo gobbled the beans so much, it's amazing she wasn't green. Not only that, the wind gauge should have read at least +5 m/s. Gail Devers was a more talented athlete with consistent medal performances over multiple Olympics.
Great running Flo Jo! Hard work pays off. I just cannot believe how negative and skeptical that announcer was. I bet if Flo Jo were a white woman, he would have been cheering instead of claiming the machines were broken. That woman just ran like the wind in front of his face, and he had the nerve to question it. Sigh, we gotta do better.
why must you bring race into this? she just broke the world record by 0.27s and her hair was blowing around in the wind when the computer said there was no wind at all... i would be skeptical too...
it's got nothing to do with race at all, talk about jumping to conclusions, geez...
@FormulaOneFan4Eva You sound dumb. The fact that you're calling me an idiot to dismiss my opinion makes you the idiot. WIND OR NO WIND, HAIR BLOWS WHEN YOU"RE RUNNING. And if wind can change the time on a machine, then all world records need to be dismissed. Kiss my ass, and good night.
@LIKECHURCH her hair was blowing around when she was on the starting line, there obviously was wind there...
the fact that you jump to conclusions so quickly shows you're a complete imbecile... it's called the dunning kruger effect, you're a perfect example...
you surely realise that there are tolerances when it comes to the wind - give or take 2m/s - it was obviously more than 2m/s... nobody, not even usain bolt can break records like that, it's either 'roids, wind or both...
next these crackers will say tigers woods is a junkie, that lebron james is not really who he say he is, or maybe usain bolt is really a machine... amerikkka hates barry bonds because he hates their ass and they hate him too.. yeah he has a white girl but who doesnt.. venus and serena are superior to all the white girls who think of picking up a tennis racket white folks hate it but when you cant win you go along with it..
crackers have spent over 20 yrs trying to prove she was using and yet they can still only speculate,Contrary to why people use blacks are naturally more gifted and inclined in all that we put our minds too.Tiger woods, jesse owens, mike tyson, usain bolt, micheal jordan, the willams sisters, arthur ashe, wilma rudolph..etc... these people set the bar saw high that it takes super athletes to compete, cant forget barry bonds.. amerikkka talks about babe ruth even though hank aaron broke his record
Of course she was taking drugs. You only have to look at her best time progression. No-one improves their best 100m time by 0.47 in one season and their 200m by 0.62 when they are 28.
yes Flo Jo was doping, and was winning gold and world records worth dieing at age 36 and leaving her little girl without a mother? She is going to have to stand before God on this one.
@loki2stunt carmelita jeter will if she works hard at it on the 100m run she clocked in at 10.64 if im not mistaken and even if she break flo jo's recored. flo jo will still be one of the best drugs or not she not the 1st & will not be the last
it should be noted that for anyone that does take performance enhancing drugs that you must first posses the talent to become faster and stronger,, it does not increase talent.. hats off to flo jo... until it's broken she is the best....
this was wind aided! she knew it, she lies at the end just as she did through out her career NO WAY this should be the world record! everyone knew it was wind assisted!
You notice a big change in her physique and voice from 1984, all point out to steroids with no doubt in my mind. Although you can change your physique by hard training, for a women to have her voice changed over four years at that age (25 to 29) is impossible without the use of steroids. Her record which was wind aided but also steroids written all over her should be written off once and for all like Mairon Jones, White, Tim Montogemry and Justin Gatlin and many others.
Flo Jo still recognized as the best R.I.P. Give Respect for the Legends.....Gail Devers is still one of the best too, 12.33 AR in the hurdles and 2 consecutive 100m olympic gold medals....they stamped their marks in history
Lol, that's just wrong.....got to realize that all of these women were fast considering the time, the 80s, it was only Flo Jo and Evelyn Ashford who dipped under 10.8 along with Dawn Sowell later in 1989
Also Christine Aaron 10.73. Problem being if you erase ALL of her records the next top athlete is Marion Jones with 10.65 and despite her confession of taking drugs from Sydney 2000 and onwards, her 10.65 time was set in 1998 so that time will ALWAYS be there because she never confessed to taking drugs b4 despite what people believe
Her focus and determination were awesome, her voice was direct and eloquent. Who wants to listen to women with squeaky, breathless, baby voices? FLO JO was a goddess, a modern day Artemis! Rest in Peace Florence.
look at flo jo's hair as she walks back after the race to the start/finish line you will see clear evidence that alot of wind was blowing in the direction of the race hence the anemometer was not working right
This record is disgusting for so many reasons, it is such a shame for so many other athletes who may never come close to this time. It will be a blot in the record books for many decades to come. Anyone who disagrees from my opinion is frankly delusional. I dearly hope athletics can find a way to be fair for the good of the sport in the future.
DAH210774-Yeah well you may as well break out your protest sign for Usain Bolt's new 9.58 100m record. Anyone who disagees with you is dillusional? And who the hell are you? U are just another "NOBODY", trying to cast doubt on someone who achieved more than you have in life. This record is not disgusting your jelously and envy of people who are more talented than you is disgusting. Its just like a "loser" to assume that if they can' t do something nobody else can either.
Amen. Flo-Jo was found to be clean. If she was dirty, she would've been busted JUST like Ben Johnson did in Seoul. There was no HGH, cream or clear in 1988...just anabolic steroids that were easily detected during a basic urine test. Her husband had her doing more masculine training and it paid off. And her voice is low, not deep. Listen to Alicia Keys sometime...I guess she's on steroids too. Jeez, some of you idiots would spit on Christ himself.
As amazing as she was, I always felt that if she covered her hair while running, she would have probably cut her time by a tenth of a second or more. She will be missed and remembered always.
theres no solid proof that she was doping, so i understand that they cant wipe her name from the record books.
however, there is so much evidence that this race was wind aided, so i dont understand why the world record isnt changed to 10.61, then maybe the world record will be 'somewhat' breakable
you can see the flag of the guy behind the start blowing in the wind.. so obviously the wind gage didn't work.. also, she was on drugs.. anyone who denies it is delusional..
Damn some of you sound so dumb. I know that most of you probably dont run track. Improving form and technique increases speed! Flo Jo NEVER failed a test and the test she took before her death, SHE PASSED. Its a shame she passed due to a seizure and suffocation
lmfao Im over here dying at many of you people's responses because 75% of you guys probably arent athletes and if you are its probably intramural anyway. I am a collegiate athlete and I do not take steriods and I have a deep voice as well so there is no proof behind what you guys are saying about a voice. Many athletic females like myself are very muscular and have deeper voices than average females. And if she had been takin steriods she wouldnt have had one face meet her whole season would be
lol im not one to point the finger but the 'evidence' does point to the use of steroids, to break the record by that much is really quite unusual in a sprint race and her voice did have quite a manly tone. i agree with the people who say its a shame these records stand- as in the future we will never see them broken it just isnt happening, isnt even worth thinking about. a real shame drug testing was such a poorly run system back in the 80's
What solid evidence? Rumors and assertions... nothing more. What is a shame is that ignorant people continue to fuel this nonsense. At her death, autopsy came up negative on any evidence of extensive drug use. Sorry... but internally.. there would have been something. If you only think that external feature changes are the side effect, you need to research more.
i have changed my opinion and point of view about this since i wrote that statement- the introduction of usain bolt has completely overhauled my thoughts about flo jo and now i am a neutral on the subject- im not saying she didnt use steroids but im not saying she did either
Yeah, I think that Flo Jo's records at 100M and 200M are probably the biggest blight on women's athletics. There are tons of other records from the late 80's and early 90's that are ridiculous and obviously drug-enhanced(400M, 800M, 1500M, 3000M, 10K!), but none of them even come close to Flo Jo's two records. People are gradually chipping away at most of the records listed above, but NO ONE will ever beat the 100M and 200M ones. They should be expunged from the books, period.
I completely agree. With all the 'chipping away' which has been done on the Mens' 100m Record over the past 2 decades, I find it hard to believe that the next fastest time after 10.49 in the women's 100m (If we ignore disgraced Marion Jones' time of 10.65) is Shelly Ann Frasier's 10.73! Thats 2 +1/2 tenths slower! So while the men are getting faster the women are making NO improvement towards 10.49, in 21 years! In conclusion, Flo Jo's 10.49 is very likely to have been drug-aided.
Furthermore, I also agree that there are many women's records which were obviously drug aided in the late 80s and early 90s, which are gradually being eaten into. For e.g. Women's 800m record is 1:53.28 (By a Czech athlete in 1983). Next fastest is close; 1:53.43 (By a Soviet athlete in 1980). However, the NEXT fastest is by Pamela Jelimo in 2008 with a time of 1:54.01! Pamela Jelimo, such a great athlete, and her lifetime best is still much slower than the record.
If your so convinced Flo Jo's record was drug aided. Why don't you do something about it. Protest it...send the IOC or IAAF a letter demanding a full investigation. While your at it be sure to attach your evidence to back up your expert opinion.
Listen kid, and I will tell you something aout history. It is a well known fact that in the 80s several East German women were heavily druged, so much so that they hold almost every track record set in that time period. Even with bigger and better traning metods, running techniques and equipment including better shoes, no one has been able to break those records. SEVERAL of them now admit to taking drugs or being given drugs. Now get this, prior to the 1988 Olympics and 1987, FloJo.....
....(not an east german runner, an American) as I was saying prior to the 1987 trials and 1988 Olympics had unimpressive times, she then showed up at the trials after an off season with an incredible new physique, described by some including as muscles with veins popping, and a deep voice....and then she breaks the totally druged records set by the East German cheats by a whole 0.5 of a second!!! LOl do you have any idea how impossible that is!
Now my friend, to make it even worse, she quits immediately after setting the reocrds. LOL. Ironically, they were going to start random testing the following year..mmhmh lol. It has also recently been revealed that the US athletics folks, tested athletes positive but let htme run anyway :). People couldnt even recognize her at the trials lol. Listen kid, it is a widely accepted fact that she cheated. Grow up. And I must send a letter the IOC or IAAF? LOL grow up kidd
By the way dont tell me she never failed a drug test. Neiter did Marion Jones and her ass is rotting right now in jail. The evidence adds up too much, its too obvious, there is no humanly possible way she can win by such a big margin while at such ease, it was actually proven by some study where tey studied records, that what she did was physically impossible, search for it. Its also disgusting, there is no way another female can aim to achieve breaking that record. The sport has been stunted.
LOL okay, what does that change about what I said about FloJo? Marion Jones admitted to taking drugs, and never failed a drug test. Hence and therefore, FloJo could very well have been on drugs despite never failing a test. And of course, you have nothing to say about th evidence I hav presented, glad to see I convinced you :). Kid, grow up.
ELZIMPORIGNAL- You don't know what your talking about. All you are doing is repeating crap you have heard other people say, you don't know a damn thing about Florence Griffeth Joyner except her name and you don't have one shred of proof to back up your ignorant opinon. You probably have never been to a professional track meet a day in your life. If your so sure about all of your wild conspiracy theories then do something about it or shut up.
Listen up. firstly, "You probably have never been to a professional track meet a day in your life", lol I am Jamaican and live in Jamaica and have been to several. Furthrmore, what i have stated are facts. Go for yourself and check her times before the trials and compare them to these suddenly great times. Go and read Carl Lewis' biography where he describes her new startling appearnace. Several other athletes complained as well. Go for yourself and do some reading, thats what I do kid :)
LOL! You tell my daughter who is one of best 400 meter sprinters in the US and NIKE her sponsor that I have never been to a professional track meet.LOL! I guess I've been wasting all of my time then. LOL. Sorry dude you ran right into that one. LOL. Oh yeah and thanks for the "Grow up Kid " remarks...I was actually getting kind pissed about turning 40 next year.
lol when the hell did i ever say you havent been to a track meet? LOL I was quoting you and letting you know that I have been to several. What I find interesting, and I dont blame you is that you cant seem to respond to the facts I have listed. And who is your daughter?
Other people's opinions in biographies and on the internet are not facts. No one has provided any hard evidence to prove she doped. Same has been said for years about Lance Armstrong.. not one shred of evidence has been provided. Just random people spreading rumors. Even at her death, nothing hinted at previous drug use. But ignorance continually prevails in the human species... After reading about her history , I personally don't think she would bother with that nonsense. Get off it...
Okay, so she probably WAS ..... 'assisted' by something other than nature. Maybe the reality was that her chemist was better than everyone else's chemist. I don't condone cheating in the slightest BUT what's the point of snarling at a dead woman?
She was such a cheat. Don't care if you live on her street, she wasn't nearly that good until that season, when she totally dominated. You don't go from being nr. 40 worldwide to nr. 1 with a margin of 2 tenths of a second at 100m in one season. The real world records are set by people who dedicate their whole lives to track. Not just one stupid season. Don't even try to defend her, she is so obviously a cheat.
Yeah, Gail Devers got out fast and she won second by a decent margin as well! Gail's magic is that she gets out fast; her top speed is not as fast as other sprinters, but, she reaches her top speed VERY quickly, which is very impressive.
you people are sick! get a life and stop bad mouthing people that are actually accomplishing things in their lives. don't talk smack unless you no the person personally. she and her family live on our street and no for a fact that she did not use drugs, we were with her daughter today, so grow up!
Yes, because obviously living on the same street as her gives you complete insight into her drug use from the late 80's. I'm sure her family would be the first in line to admit that their daughter/sister/mother cheater her way to insane impossible world records. This is what's known as a "non-sequitur" logical fallacy, try again.
She did run fast. But With peformance enhancing drugs i'm sure a few women in now days could accomplish a feat like this. And yo don't die at 39 of heart faliure if there wasn't some substance attributed
Pre 1988 PR for 100 was 10.96 seconds -- not even in the then best 40 marks of all time.
200 meter PR of 21.96 did not rate in the top 20.
So in 1988, at age 28, she improves by .47 seconds in the 100 and .67 seconds in the 200? Drugs!
Gwen Torrence said of FloJo's records: ``To me they don't exist and women sprinters are suffering as a result of what she did to the times in the 100 and 200.'
imperfect perfect techinque which is why she flows.. i run at this track near my house i could beat everybody all other runners .. im a martial artist and i was beating ever runner there...except this one old guy i couldnt beat for nothin couldt even catch him he he must of been in his late forties... but was in damn good shape.. he ran just like flo jo ...
Dude, if you get outrun in a sprint by some "old guy" in his late 40's, then you suck. Just because you can beat a bunch of day joggers at your track doesn't mean that you're fast, and besides, Flo Jo's speed has nothing to do with "imperfect technique" or any such nonsense.
meaning the CNS must be able to increase rate of force development in order to perpetuate the same velocity at a higher mass. Mind you that while exogenous anabolic angrogens have been proven to increase muscle mass there is not definitive proof of increased rate coding of the high threshold motor units required in explosive movements such as this
Flo-Jo was not nearly as musclular as Kelli White, a self proclaimed user of THG, and she didn't even touch Flo-Jo's time. So all you arm chair biochemists need to get off your soap boxes. Just because an athlete gains muscle mass does not guarantee improved athletic performance. Any gains in body mass must absolutely be accompanied by a concommitant increase in neural effeciency......
Most of you guys dont realize that human growth hormone cannot be detected. there aren't any tests that are able to yet. just like the clear, by the time someone develops a test all of the records have been broken and you cant go back to test them. they just started doing that. theres no telling what athletes in those days were on
I agree with your statement in part. However it is not fair for people to accuse unless they have facts. Is there speculation?Yes, but no one has evidence, it just boils down to that. As an insider I know that a Human growth hormone test was first introduced in 2004 and adminstered in the Athens olympics. The current test is based on the blood matrix and thats all i can say about that!:)
and most of you don't know shit about how the body reacts to exogenous GH, only what you've been told by the media. GH enduces larger internal organs and slight increase in bone density. That's why you see alot of professional bodybuilders with disdended abdomens, it's called "GH gut". Studies have shown that exongenous synthetic GH does not significantly increase muscle mass.
wow, its like yall are over looking the fat that ben johnson got cought after he had been on that stuff for a year or so. if she was on something more or likly it would have been the same stuff as him. and by the 90s he didnt even look like the same face wise. if she was on something im sure her looks would have chaged by the time she pasted
The WR ahould be 10.61 or her 10.62. That day was very windy. Also, If Evelyn ashford can run a 10.76 in 1984 at the age of 27 10.60's is not that far off. Merlene's best in the 100 is a 10.74 at the age of 36. Chirtine arron ran a 10.73 in 98.
flojo never went on drugs or any of that crap just to make her faster she worked for it every single day and night to get what she has earned. doctors have proof.
She was tested many times as all track athletes are and was never found positive. If she was dirty way why in 88 when she won all those medals wasn't she caught like Ben johnson was.
Michael Johnson eas not running that fast his entire career. His form took around the same amount of time as Flo Jo. He didn't even qualify for the 200 & 400 in 92' olympics so what does that tell you?
He didn't enter the 400. He went out in the semis in the 200 finishing 5th due to illness. He came back in the 4 * 400 relay to run a sub 44 leg in helping the US set a then world record. What does that tell u poo poo pants?
u may be related..but it obvious she was on drugs.how the hell some gal took a year to become a prodigy..my gurl u r as dumb as a door post...the bitch was on drugs a year before that she was struggling to run 11 seconds...some Prodigy
.. she wasnt big enough to be on steroids she could only squat 300 lbs that aint shit...for a wold class athlete lil ass allyson felix does that much .. im tellin u her it was her form was second to none men or women
Well it was never proven so innocent till proven guilty. look how fast Michael Johnson ran, was he on drugs too? I don't think so. So Stop hating and enjoy the moment.
Anybody who thinks she wasn't on drugs is dillusional!! She even sounds like a transexual!! Of course her autopsy didn't show signs of drugs cos she died years after she finished taking them!! I love Flo Jo at the time. I also loved Marliez Gohr, Marita Koch and Ilona Slupianek BUT it turns out that they were ALL drug cheats!
Ok drugged the fastest woman right now and try to beat 10:49,I doubt no women even comes close :D

how was the wind 0.0??????
the flags and the athletes hair were blowing like mad in the wind
bluewhale18 10 months ago
@bluewhale18 Don't listen flamers.
Eugene is Like Rieti,The wind is always strongly favorable, sometimes the anemometer gives less than 2m/s but during a 10 second race it can change.
Difficult to understand?
In exemple:in a 100m race between second 1 and second 7 the wind changes from +1.9 to +3.7
The race is considered valid with a +1.9 wind.But...the performance is wind aided.
I suppose the 10''49 was that kind of wind aided race...

She was a super fit athlete
She died of a heart attack at less than 40

@FormulaOneFan4Eva You sound dumb. The fact that you're calling me an idiot to dismiss my opinion makes you the idiot. WIND OR NO WIND, HAIR BLOWS WHEN YOU"RE RUNNING. And if wind can change the time on a machine, then all world records need to be dismissed. Kiss my ass, and good night.
LIKECHURCH 1 year ago

You notice a big change in her physique and voice from 1984, all point out to steroids with no doubt in my mind. Although you can change your physique by hard training, for a women to have her voice changed over four years at that age (25 to 29) is impossible without the use of steroids. Her record which was wind aided but also steroids written all over her should be written off once and for all like Mairon Jones, White, Tim Montogemry and Justin Gatlin and many others.

kalonzohart 2 years ago
Jeez, some of you idiots would spit on Christ himself.

yellowbird39tc 3 years ago
lol im not one to point the finger but the 'evidence' does point to the use of steroids, to break the record by that much is really quite unusual in a sprint race and her voice did have quite a manly tone. i agree with the people who say its a shame these records stand- as in the future we will never see them broken it just isnt happening, isnt even worth thinking about. a real shame drug testing was such a poorly run system back in the 80's
gymboy99 3 years ago
What solid evidence? Rumors and assertions... nothing more. What is a shame is that ignorant people continue to fuel this nonsense. guy0307 3 years ago 4
They should be expunged from the books, period.
bekele2617 3 years ago 2
And your proof is from where? Does God speak to you?
mom2dave 3 years ago 3
I completely agree. With all the 'chipping away' which has been done on the Mens' 100m Record over the past 2 decades, I find it hard to believe that the next fastest time after 10.49 in the women's 100m (If we ignore disgraced Marion Jones' time of 10.65) is Shelly Ann Frasier's 10.73! Thats 2 +1/2 tenths slower! So while the men are getting faster the women are making NO improvement towards 10.49, in 21 years! In conclusion, Flo Jo's 10.49 is very likely to have been drug-aided.
LordAntWarrior 2 years ago
Furthermore, I also agree that there are many women's records which were obviously drug aided in the late 80s and early 90s, which are gradually being eaten into. For e.g. Women's 800m record is 1:53.28 (By a Czech athlete in 1983). Next fastest is close; 1:53.43 (By a Soviet athlete in 1980). However, the NEXT fastest is by Pamela Jelimo in 2008 with a time of 1:54.01! Pamela Jelimo, such a great athlete, and her lifetime best is still much slower than the record.
LordAntWarrior 2 years ago
If your so convinced Flo Jo's record was drug aided. Why don't you do something about it. Protest it...send the IOC or IAAF a letter demanding a full investigation. While your at it be sure to attach your evidence to back up your expert opinion.
kalonzohart 2 years ago
Listen kid, and I will tell you something aout history. It is a well known fact that in the 80s several East German women were heavily druged, so much so that they hold almost every track record set in that time period. Even with bigger and better traning metods, running techniques and equipment including better shoes, no one has been able to break those records. SEVERAL of them now admit to taking drugs or being given drugs. Now get this, prior to the 1988 Olympics and 1987, FloJo.....
ELZIMPORIGINAL 2 years ago
....(not an east german runner, an American) as I was saying prior to the 1987 trials and 1988 Olympics had unimpressive times, she then showed up at the trials after an off season with an incredible new physique, described by some including as muscles with veins popping, and a deep voice....and then she breaks the totally druged records set by the East German cheats by a whole 0.5 of a second!!! LOl do you have any idea how impossible that is!
ELZIMPORIGINAL 2 years ago
Now my friend, to make it even worse, she quits immediately after setting the reocrds. LOL. Ironically, they were going to start random testing the following year..mmhmh lol. It has also recently been revealed that the US athletics folks, tested athletes positive but let htme run anyway :). People couldnt even recognize her at the trials lol. Listen kid, it is a widely accepted fact that she cheated. Grow up. And I must send a letter the IOC or IAAF? LOL grow up kidd
ELZIMPORIGINAL 2 years ago
By the way dont tell me she never failed a drug test. Neiter did Marion Jones and her ass is rotting right now in jail. The evidence adds up too much, its too obvious, there is no humanly possible way she can win by such a big margin while at such ease, it was actually proven by some study where tey studied records, that what she did was physically impossible, search for it. Its also disgusting, there is no way another female can aim to achieve breaking that record. The sport has been stunted.
ELZIMPORIGINAL 2 years ago
ELZIMPORGINAL- Marion Jones has been out of prison for about a year since September 5th 2008.
kalonzohart 2 years ago
LOL okay, what does that change about what I said about FloJo? Marion Jones admitted to taking drugs, and never failed a drug test. Hence and therefore, FloJo could very well have been on drugs despite never failing a test. And of course, you have nothing to say about th evidence I hav presented, glad to see I convinced you :). Kid, grow up.
ELZIMPORIGINAL 2 years ago
ELZIMPORIGNAL- You don't know what your talking about. ELZIMPORIGINAL 2 years ago

Drugs!

I agree with your statement in part. However it is not fair for people to accuse unless they have facts. Is there speculation?Yes, but no one has evidence, it just boils down to that.

And its pretty clear that flo jo ran a 10.49 because of the distance.

In Seoul she ran a 10.54 not a 10.51 The 10.54 was over the wind limit thats why the Olympic record is her 10.62 she ran in the quaterfinal! :)

Michael Johnson eas not running that fast his entire career. His form took around the same amount of time as Flo Jo. He didn't even qualify for the 200 & 400 in 92' olympics so what does that tell you?
Warmachine300 4 years ago
He didn't enter the 400. He went out in the semis in the 200 finishing 5th due to illness. He came back in the 4 * 400 relay to run a sub 44 leg in helping the US set a then world record. What does that tell u poo poo pants?

Well it was never proven so innocent till proven guilty. look how fast Michael Johnson ran, was he on drugs too? I don't think so. So Stop hating and enjoy the moment.

Anybody who thinks she wasn't on drugs is dillusional!! She even sounds like a transexual!! Of course her autopsy didn't show signs of drugs cos she died years after she finished taking them!! I love Flo Jo at the time. I also loved Marliez Gohr, Marita Koch and Ilona Slupianek BUT it turns out that they were ALL drug cheats!
