possibly one of the best walk through training videos I have seen. Ryan you did a great job! and better still it's all for free! I will look forward to watching more of your videos. Cheers
Thank you so much for this thourough and very clear explaination on creating an ebook cover. Can you PLEASE tell me though, how do I import that into my ebook when I am uploading my ebook on Kindle (Amazon)? Please and Thank you! =)
I've created a video response to this called "How to Upload Your Ebook Cover to Amazon Self Publishing" which you can find on my channel.
The easiest way to do this would be to take the image you created in this tutorial, copy and paste it into a Word document, then save that document as a pdf that fits the guidelines for Amazon's publishing.
@creatingasite Yes, that does answer my question. Thank you so much. I also noticed that Amazon has a step by step tutorial video that tells you when and how to upload your ebook, and the ebook cover when your ready to submitt it for publication. Thanks alot Ryan, your videos are so helpful and so clear! Thanks a million!
@BeautifulLife1977 - There are a couple options, but usually you'll want to create you content as a pdf file, then upload it to your website. From there you can create a link where people can download the ebook. The process depends if you're trying to capture email addresses first, just offer it for free download, or try to sell one using a payment processor like paypal. What are you planning on doing?
@creatingasite Hi, thanks for answering my question and for he guidance. Yes I would like to make a book and sell it on my website. I just don't know how to "put the cover" on the book so to to speak, or what program might be best for using a picture I currently have for a cover. .
Hi Ryan! Such a great video with really useful and helpful info. So much more professional and reassuring than many others claiming to explain how to make covers using free software (which turns out to be not-so free after all.) Will visit your site as a result. Many thanks. Tom
