The problem is that back then, none of that gimmicky crap worked. At all. The Power Glove worked for two games. The floor thing in the video (called the "Activator") didn't work worth a damn.
The only gimmicky controllers that worked were the light guns, but they had almost no games.
Today, all the motion detection stuff actually works.

If Roger Thinks that video Games are still the same as they were with this, I can understand why he wouldn't consider Video Gamers Art, still a fun video notheless.
This would of been awesome without a great fight. The great fight with the guy ahead on points getting knocked out in the final round made it legendary!
