  • I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS POSSIBLE

  • Roger Ebert may not be a great boxer, but he sure knows how to dance. =P

  • No wonder Ebert has a poor opinion on video games...

  • @TheSweedishPickles Indeed.

  • Beta Testing kinect in the 1980s

  • Terrible comment inc... but this would be the best gift for michael j fox. Someone had to say it.. jesus im ashamed...

  • LOLOLOLOL I HAD THIS GAME!!! LMAO but not the sensor things :/

  • c'mon let's twist again

  • im surprised sega hasnt sued microsoft lmao

  • I think Roger's sweating

  • these guys have some seriously deluded idea to what punching and kicking is

  • They could've been contenders in "DWTS" with moves like that.

  • THIS IS FRIGGIN AWSOME!

I loved these two when I was a kid.

    RIP Gene...

  • Holy shit! Ebert played with the activator! It all makes sense now!

  • why the fuck are they kicking? it's a boxing game

  • @ladic kicks are body shots i think

  • Eventually, this caught Nintendo's and Microsoft's attention. 2 decades later... Well... At least we look less stupid.

  • fucking video games...how do they work?!?

  • Video games can never be art? Ever Ever?

    --a Machinima artist

  • 0:41 Star Wars Kid much ?

  • I laughed so hard watching this, hahaha. Awsome stuff.

  • What a piece of shit THAT was.

  • Button mashers.

  • /watch?v=Jm0KKa6wACQ eerily simular.

  • That game was probably like $2000 in 1993 lol, no one had that kind of Wii-like crap back then

  • @DominoRyder Nah, the game was $50 and the "controller" was $100. Gaming stuff has pretty much always had the same general price range.

The problem is that back then, none of that gimmicky crap worked. At all. The Power Glove worked for two games. The floor thing in the video (called the "Activator") didn't work worth a damn.

The only gimmicky controllers that worked were the light guns, but they had almost no games.

Today, all the motion detection stuff actually works.

  • BUT IS IT ART?

  • @StealthSilver: Yes. A video game is art by default. The thing is, art isn't a compliment but rather a descriptive. However, this game in particular is not high art a Roger would put it.

  • @abcdefh1992 Nothing can be art by default

  • kinect? is that you?

  • jajaja they're dancing mambo wambo

  • Hahah you got to love Gene :D

  • This is beyond hilarious.

  • If Roger Thinks that video Games are still the same as they were with this, I can understand why he wouldn't consider Video Gamers Art, still a fun video notheless.

  • too cute

  • This is awesome!

  • They should've taken their shirts off first

  • This was hilarious, and definately classic!

  • Cue ball in the side pocket!

  • oh god i could only imagine these guys reviewing the nintendo wii LOL i love these guys

  • Those graphics seem so quaint, now :)

  • The winner by come from behind knockout: GENE SISKEL!

  • This would of been awesome without a great fight. The great fight with the guy ahead on points getting knocked out in the final round made it legendary!

  • This is brilliant! Damn, I miss Gene. RIP

  • Wow, while this may have humiliated Siskel and Ebert, you can't help but miss them.

  • It's like a scene from 'The Critic'; fantastic.

  • Oh, wow. That's unbelievable.

I don't even remember that setup. What game was that?

  • Simply Awesome!

  • This is interesting since Roger Ebert hates video games.

  • I was thinking the same thing.

  • This is pure hilarity

  • I must be the first too say. This is Great
