Reading through these comments, ugh. SKRILLEX is the reason that you became interested in Jim Morrison? John Cage & Carl Stockhausen predicted these things back in the 1930's and 40's. Jim Morrison is just recycling what he was taught in college, not acting as a prophet. I love Jim Morrison as much as the next guy, but holy hell I am annoyed by the mongoloid teens who want to sound like they know something because they just discovered The fucking Doors, one of the most popular bands of all time.
@projectmpls do not put down Jim Morrison, he is a genius, not figuratively; literally! He had an IQ of 149! I would be surprised if your artists have an IQ above 100!

@MorganRyann422 Yeah, talking about fuckin ho's isn't lowlife at all. I'm glad you don't like it, I'd like to have as little in common with you as possible.
Well it can't be that good if a "low life slob" predicted it. Come on man we don't go on your rap videos and just constantly troll it so don't come over here man. Just keep it in your own genre.
@MorganRyann422 Are you retarded? All the rap artists I see are "fucked out of their minds" all the fucking time. Look at Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa for God's sake.
its funny how all the comments talking about machines and music have to do with rap because it would break alot of people spirits to know that all music is doesn't matter if its rap, rock, alternative, house whatever they use engineers, technology to make them sound better even in live concerts what you think compressors, limiters, all studio equipment is for lol most people who comment only heard mainstream versions of the genre Jim is a legend and was definitely right about music in GENERAL
Ha ha, Jim - just because people sat listening too him open mouthed because he could sing (!), he thought he was some sort of guru .... he wasn't. Check out what he said, it was mumbo jumbo rubbish.

@CobainLennon8094 I don't know what he would like. but most rap isn't poetry, and he was speaking not about what he would like to listen to, but what he thought was to come in the future.
Seriously a lot of stuff about Morrisson was stupid.
He sang pop music. In a pop band. The fact that psychedelic music seems cool now, isn’t the point. At the time, it was what school girls listened to.
His poetry only got published, as he published it himself. As it was so average.
He made up 90% of his life story, to try and sound like some “troubled rebel”. Lots of dumb stories about hating his parents, and his sister being dead, and seeing Indians being slaughtered. He made it all up.
@PacquiaoEPO Don't come to this video just to troll. Don't talk shit about Jim Morrison. You're the stupid one, considering you have no idea what happened. He was there, were you? Gtfo.
@PacquiaoEPO What? Psychedelic music is what school girls listened to back in the 60s? they listened to the Grateful dead?, Pink Floyd?, Jefferson Airplaine?, Hendrix? etc. I dont think so, probly just The Doors, more like pop rock stuff like that and the Beatles, not Psychedelic Psychedelic.
Not everyone bought into the Morrison thing. He was a notorious liar, and fantacist, who made up 90% of the things he ever sung or wrote about. He invented scenarios and stories about his life, to create drama, theatre and hype. But a lot of fans bought into them a bit too much, and thought it was actually him. He was very middle class, had a very happy family life, and childhood, and his father was a colonel in the US army who used to go to all his shows ;)
@PacquiaoEPO everything you just said is the most stupid remark i have ever heard on jim morrison, if you were reall envolved and actually knew what went on you would be posting bullshit on his video, him and his father never had a stable relationship, and he was the most intelligent person to graduate out of ucla in his time with an IQ of 165, he knew what he was saying and he was the most real person on this earth, he hated people like you for a good reason
@MrMightyFucker dont give too much credit to youtube man. the concept wasn't original, youtube happened to become the most popular organization that provides the service.
Listen to what he says at 3:00 Totally prophetic! He totally predicted DJ's and the digital music revolution way back in the dark ages of1969. Genius.
Jim, You are truely a visionary, as well as all of the members of The Doors, You guys made such a sound and an image of what you thought music should be about, and followed it with everything you guys did.
Wish I could have seen it for myself, All the best :]

@drunkDaniels92
He was a complete fake. Most of the stories he told, about his past, he simply made up, to create drama/theatre around himself.
He was a upper-middle class, white kid, from california, who made up stories about family tragedies, to get attention
