Nice work Occupy. The forming of alliances with each and every active progressive group needs to be everyones priority. The battle against the power that has arisen in the form of the global corporate state can only be won through the dominance of overwhelming numbers.

The OWS movement is a bit scary. Cultish. Naive. And easily infiltrated.

Educate these people about the symbol of the fist they use -- it is not new. It is a symbol of the US-intelligence group that has initiated "soft-revolutions" around the world, which ultimately amount to no change at all -- as we've seen in Egypt and Libya.

Now that sounds cultist to me.They infiltrate by agent provocateurs to justify a heavy handed response by the police, effectively injecting more fear from protesting. That's the message.

banks loaning money at interest is theft. CEO's cutting wages turning it into profit is theft. Getting to the core issues is paramount, not what symbols protester use.

@Livingvibe2 I agree, the message is most important. I'm not into symbolism. But that particular symbol is one which is used by these intelligence agencies that try to create revolutions and then co-opt them. Does this mean that OWS has been co-opted? I don't know. I think the movements are somewhat different in Canada and the US -- Canadians are much more socialist. But, I think we have to be aware, and skeptical of people that are pushing for more govt intrusion and control.
