I mean I have been told by other elder pagans in the past that you make a witch name to hide your "true name", or the name that only the goddess and god has given you that you may not even know, the name where if someone were to find out what yours was, they would have complete control over you.
@LaStregaGrigria I've been in the Wiccan/Pagan community for over a decade and I've never heard that. What I have heard is that people use craft names to hide their legal names so that people can't persecute them at home or work for being Pagan. For example, I've got a friend who works for a Catholic Hospital that says he would most likely be fired if they knew about his religious beliefs. So when he attends Pagan gatherings, he uses a "Craft Name".
@BlueFireWitch Oh trust me. I don't plan on making anything else regarding him. I just had to make a statement of his accusations of things that never happened and nip that part in the butt before it got out of control Why would I attack my friends without motive like he insinuated? He never answered that question.
@TravelerOfThePath It's quite alright! :D It happens to the best of us. I remember one time that happened with my net and my upload uploaded in two parts. It suuuuuuucked.
He's proof that children should not be allowed on the Internet without supervision.
And LSG? You can't go around demanding respect, it has to be earned, and you SURELY haven't earned it. And I agree with Pheobus3309, you're acting like a spoiled, snotty child - not a high priest.
@LaStregaGrigria If you're meaning your name given at birth, no. Etymology of those names are tied in with family roots, history, and what the parent likes. Nothing magickal about them. They're just mundane and correlated to how the first name sounds with the last name.
@LaStregaGrigria Birth names can also be from someone they know. For instance my first name goes back in my ancestral heritage on my mother's side and my dad had a friend with the same name as I do, so they chose that one.
My name? Nick? What does my name mean? I looked it up, (as short for Nicholas), and it said it meant victory of the people. Is that true? And im not trying to save face, I am speaking civil with you like you asked. I can be civil, or un civil, which ever you want. Now Im just trying to understand name etmology
@LaStregaGrigria I see many posers on YouTube claiming something they're not. I don't claim to be all informative, I'm just confident in what I know through my years of experience. For me it's strange, convenient, and there's no evidence of either or from any ministry by your supposed ordination process. I didn't say anything about your name, I'm talking about Georgette and Selena. Not too much of that whole story adds up which leaves all of us to question your motives, your background, and you.
@LaStregaGrigria Name etymology and roots of both the name and the generalized faith should correspond with everything from what I've gathered about them and I don't go by that being that it just sounds silly to me. Like I said, my grandma gave me mine and I use it as a nickname. That's it. Nothing special about it. But the above usually happens with 'craft' names.
@Pheobus3309 hang on a sec love didn't he say that etymology was created by christians and therefore false?!?!?!?! i'm lost lmao. And I call people names and degrade them but you know how much I hate bullshit.....i calls it where i smells it. And seriously with some people that is the only way they will listen kinda like kids that only listen when you take shit away from them.
@PhoenixRayneweaver Pretty much. That's why I say that when you do it, it's warranted. It's not something you just do as a hobby and you don't do that with every person that comes across your videos. That's what drew me to your videos is you call it how you see it and you don't lie about it. That's why I love ya! <3!
@Pheobus3309 well I try to make sure it is warrented and that i'm not just pissed off but i'm not perfect and I don't claim to be....I love you too sweets<3
@PhoenixRayneweaver Yeah. Being perfect is way overrated. Which when I invoke the fluffy in a video you'll giggle lots with it. I might be a goth, valley girl, gay surfer. LMAO! The combination is in itself ear bleeding worthy.
the magickal name is a name that you use in ritual, something that coresponds well with you, regardless of what others say. Honestly, I feel right now that you only see a certain type of person as a witch. Someone with a long wierd name like chicamacandcheese, and someone who you feel is a witch. what gives you that right? please inform me. Im serious, I want to know where your coming from.
@LaStregaGrigria I see many types of Witches. Where I'm coming from is that your story seems a little too convenient and it sounds to me you're trying to save face. I'm not saying that people can't have magickal names since I don't really use mine that my grandmother gave me at birth, but mine wasn't really magickal. It was another added name for an undefined purpose that had root in Romanian, Gaelic, and Norse traditions. Which is where you get your name from.
is it not magickal to you because it isnt ridiculous? because its not something exzotic I should say, not stupid, but because its not different its not a witch name? I used to take a pagan class with a woman, when I fIrst came into my craft, with a woman named Laura who took on the name Casandra, not to different, but still magickal to her, its not for us to decide what is a witch name and what isnt. Wouldnt you respectfully agree with me on that point?
@LaStregaGrigria The name Cassandra is of Greek origin, and it means "unheeded prophetess". Georgette is of French and Latin origin, and the meaning of Georgette is "farmer". Hardly magickal.
Ok then, you want me to listen and learn, then talk, make a video or a response or something that would help me fill the shoes I have been given better, please. When I look back through the comments, I actually make myself look stupid numerous times, and Im sure this post will get laughs as well. So because your older, and you believe your wiser in some areas than I myself am, then please, clear some things up for me. Im not being sarcastic, Im serious. Blessed Be. (sorry for the "behavior).
To TOTP, I am ordained through the Gregorian path, and to Phoebus, how can I not be egotistical? I am not trying to sound that way, and I no way have I said" yes! I know all! Bw to me!" now have I? You wanna be honest, now be honest, when have the words "what I say is final" ever come out of my mouth? Selena is her "legal name" and Georgette, is her "witch name" or "craft name" as some would say. And my right to say what I want is freedom of speech, as PRW would clearly state.
@LaStregaGrigria Then why didn't you use the same name and make that known the first time? Secondly why again are you trying to insinuate that myself and PhoenixRayneWeaver were calling BlueFireWitch egotistical and fluffy? I've searched all the videos comments and that's what you said we were doing when BlueFireWitch I know quite well and I'm friends with her. No where in our discussion has that popped up until YOU brought it up and lied that we were doing it.
@LaStregaGrigria And what person in their right mind would take Georgetta as a craft name? It's not magickal sounding, it's not interesting, and it sounds to me like you're trying to save face.
Good job Pheebs! This kid really needs to take stock of things...He's only shoveling more and more shit and its FUNNY to see him caught up in his own lies.
Oh ok. So can you make this name up? Or do you have to find it some how? Like through numerology or something like that?

Hey Nick, I got two question for you.
1. What tradition were you "ordained from"
2. Your channel name implies that you follow Strega yet in your channel you list off a bunch of diffrent paths mixed......So which is it?
