Anyway, this sort of reminds me of Paramount Television's 1970s blue mountain logo, since both that and this are basically the regular movie logos with "Television" suddenly elbowing its way in.

Wait---it is? I could swear that my Simpsons first season DVD has the 1995 logo instead of this. (Unlike those VHS releases of a few first-seasoners they put out in 1997 or so, which I remember did have this logo.)
