If I'm not mistaken, the guys who played on most of the cuts on this LP recorded under the names Ice and Lafayette Afro Rock Band. They were a mixture of African and French guys. LARB is a group that has been heavily sampled by numerous rap artists over the years.

This was released on West End Records in 1978. It was the first Patrick Cowley Mega Mix. Then came the I Feel Love Mega Mix by Ms. Donna.
