@assemblyguy Well watch the Documentary The World Against Apartheid Have you heard from Johannesburg. It's on the BBC at the moment but Connie Field made these films independently of television and I'm sure wherever anyone is in the world they can find them. The part that covers Steve Biko's influence and his death is vital viewing.

@assemblyguy It amazes me that still you have to explain who Biko was. Everyone knows Mandela but they don;t know who Biko was,

@TheMimifur Well I simply tell people to read up Steven Biko. Information online is fast and easy. But people are more familiar with Mandela than Biko. Biko only became a name when "Cry Freedom" came out. In fact that is how I learned of him back in 1987. as well as seeing a Dry White Season in 1989. Lots of global changed occurring during the late 80s. If you aren't learning, your are barely living.
