when will construction end? i was there a few days ago and they made us walk aaaaalllll the way around the park (behind soaring over California) and it was cramped in that boarded up hallway. i like very much that they are doing changes, i just hope that the park will have some maneuverable room soon.
This looks so awesome! I love everything that's happening right now in the park. I just wish they could've kept the original name. They changed it from Disney's California Adventure to Disney California Adventure. It just sounds weird like that. I don't know, maybe that's just me. :)
@CecenaGuy It has to do with branding, and maybe some legal reasons. That's why it's called Disney California Adventure...Sleeping Beauty Castle...Cinderella Castle. Kinda makes sense. After all, I don't drive a "Ford's Mustang" or own an "Apple's IPhone". More changes are on their way. Disney Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios.
According to Disney when the Carthay Circle Theater opens, it will boast a Steak Restaurant and a cafe titled “Walt’s Cafe”.
There is also a rumor that the theater will have a private club like Club 33 inside of Disneyland but Disney officials are not confirming this rumor as of yet.
Another rumor is that there will be a private lounge only for Premium Annual Passholders who pay a special fee. I'm a Premium passholder and WILL pay the fee.
I'm so excited for this new entrance! That's one thing California Adventure was really lacking, an entrance as magical as Mainstreet in Disneyland, an entrance that told a story to its guests. But with this new Buena Vista Street, with the Carthay Circle Theatre, it's going to have that story, that magical element that it needed. And I really can't wait to see the theatre itself, I bet it's going to be beautiful, a little piece of Disney history for the park. :)
Am I the only one still sad that the California Zephyr is gone?

Wow. Construction is going super fast. Keep it up Disney. We totally want to check out Buena Vista St. when its done. =)
