Well that is the point isn't it, the white firefighters were NOT promoted because they coudn't promote any blacks. That's like saying, ok, you can't graduate because this other guy didn't, saying your individual character and ability don't matter if a black guy doesn't do as good. You may want to play it off as well no one got it, therefore no foul, but that isn't how sociaty works, you don't withhold a position from a qualified person for racial reasons. PERIOD.

Why didn't Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson fight for these guys? Aren't they supposed to fight for Civil Rights...oh that's right, they're nothing but race hustlers.
Our society is racist. Blacks against whites. I worked for a large corporation. Applied for a job that was subsequently awarded to a minority with only 8 years experience.. The hiring director sent an email introducing the new manager. Among the defining attributes bulleted in the email that weighed heavily upon awarding the job was listed: African American Minority. The director was not fired, the job not reposted. Not even a reprimand. Director, exec-director & vp all black.
This is why when filling out paper work, i don't fill out the color of my skin.
I also hate when blacks say whites have all the opportunities. They bitch because their population isn't educated...well they do it to themselves for dealing in crime, gangs and skipping school! NO ONE better say black schools are bad because whites make them bad, the fucking black gangster kids make them bad. Just because they're poor doesn't mean thay HAVE to be in a gang. You want to succeed? Read a fucking book.
I take offense to the term "reverse" racism or "reverse" discrimination. This is racism, period. Look up the definition of racism: "discriminatory or abusive behavior towards members of another race", and the definition of discrimination: "Treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit". Now try to explain how this is "reverse". This mentality is so brainless it makes me angry.
and my second point would be that i do believe this is wrong. i dont understand why ethnicity is even a factor on a test. i think the results should speak for themselves and the most qualified people should be given the job. it is ridiculous for race to even be an issue in a situation like this
