The sand hill, the sisters,the march and shoot,i can still taste the blood in my mouth after the assult course,the good old days,i was at Pirbright in 1978 when it was the Guards depot,, SEPTON JUNCTION IN UNO....Was just reading the comment further down,,yes well rember the canal ...is SANDYS still there...

the sand hill is no longer in use as someone died on it but the 3 sisters ive hear alot about cant wait to see them lol

i was in training at pirbright in 82, did six yrs with the 2nd btn grenadiers. anyone remember the 2mile stretch of unused canal? we used to get beasted up and down the sandhill and made to run in the canal till we dropped. and once you did drop, you were kicked round to the sandhill and beasted again....lol memories.
