  • Where did you get the double track adapters and the graduated track?

  • Not realize they are toys? It's a complete crap. which I believe are re jerks.

  • Didi you use freeze frames when that track switched?

  • No, nothing so sophisticated. The whole thing was shot with a Sony pocket digital camera and edited with Roxio media creator. Still images were made with paintshop-pro.

  • wyattspop: i have been searching for a motor to do just what you did. if you can get me more information please do so, thanks

  • First there was Cecil B. DeMille, then John Ford, then Scrosese, now.......YOU!

  • Thank you. I've always thought of my as from the Ed Wood school.

  • part 3

If you ever want one, just drop me a line.

I'm currently working on installing a camera to the car so you can watch the journey ofyour Mono remotely on your TV, but from the view of the pilot (if he was an inch and a half tall!) Lucas has nothing on you but a budget...

  • I think a sequel would be fun. Any ideas?

  • Part 2

I installed a motor that puts out more than double the rpm's and it runs more than twice as fast with no physical changes to it. Motor is even the same company, took me months to find the exact model (and a Japanese translator website!) It runs perfectly and looks so much better scale to speed ratio.

  • I am doing refurbishment on my own monorail playsets which includes replacing the motors. Can you tell me what company makes the motors for the monorail playset? I would also appreciate it if you also told me the Japanese translator website also.

  • Hi, I send many folks to this video. Don't know if you still have a passion for Disney Monos, but I thought you'd like to know I actually achieved this (faster Disney Monorails).

  • that's a cool set! how long did it take to make?

  • It's all on a six foot long table. I just re-arranged the track for each shot.

  • This is a beautiful piece of art!

  • At last. To be recognized in one's own time. Thank you.

  • This is the kind of movie that comes along once in a weekend. A harrowing, nail-nibbling, single-rail, emotional roller-coaster ride for the whole family. I wept.

P.S. Great to see Chewbacca out of rehab and working again. He's still got it!

    .

  • Working with Chewbacca was one of true pleasures making this film. His range is amazing. I wish you could see the antics that went on "behind the scenes"! Chewbacca is such a kidder and so humble for doing such a low budget film.

  • Plus $25 for the helmet.

  • this must of cost you $10000 on the monorail track and $20 for the cockpit

  • Wonderful.

  • Ok, what the hell?

  • Finally, someone who "gets it".

  • wow get lives

  • If we were to "get lives" you would have little to waste your life watching.

  • hahaha i love the rct screams

  • i really wanna see the entire layout of your system in ike one picture, or a video. it looks awesome. could u do that?

  • Actually, there is no lay-out. The whole silly thing was shot on an eight foot table in the backyard. Maybe there'll be layout one day.

  • - What's the point of this?

  • Entertain all the "shut-ins" with little else to do.

  • Could have done without the goofy outfits and the gorilla... But I will say this is a pretty well done film and should be looked to as an example of what can and in my opinino, should be done on YouTube...

    Right on!

  • All films need goofy outfits and gorillas. What's even better is goofy gorilla outfits. Wait 'til you see my next stupid movie!

  • Wish I had some of the Disney monorails. I've collected a few of the Remco Speedrail sets, but the operation is spotty at best.

  • Where was the star-studded cast of passengers? That was the point of stopping the monorail wasn't it? To save the star-studded cast of passengers?

  • Budget constraints. Besides, I think George Kennedy has retired.

  • You, sir, are positively sick and positively twisted.

Wait ... what is that I hear in the distance ... is that ... a sequel?! Brace yourselves!

  • lmao...i want a pilot helmet like that!!!

  • Wow! Somebody's got a lot of...monorails!

    Wonderful "Goofy" fun!

  • terrible music but cool movie

  • Excellent job. Very creative and nice use of audio clips.

  • Too funny... Loved the safety and old-school ticket purchase announcements... AND the little "nod" to HAL. Good stuff!

  • Where'd you get the 2 beams on 1 support at?

  • They used to be available on EBAY.

  • I may have to put this on my best of YouTube 2008 mix!

  • Gee, garsh, Thanks.

  • Cool video what you need is my actual Disney World pilots uniform I have listed on ebay! Just search disney monorail pilots uniform.

  • Will do.

  • WTF!! WHATS WITH THE CHIMP?!?!?!?

  • Well, I certainly couldn't make a monorail movie without a chimp!

  • WTF!! WHATS WITH THE CHIMP?!?!?!?

  • This was such a turn on. Those long trains penetrating the stations.... I'm wild with excitment!

  • Very nice layout and great vid and charecters. I salute you! :) :) lol!

  • Chewbacca! haha, that was awesome. You are one crazy mother effer. :)

  • akward

  • nice use of hess toys

  • ahaha nice man! i want some doubble tracks and switch beams! i onlyhave 3 trains. red blue and gold. redsthe fastest. it goes around my room them up on to my mantel.

  • you actually have mini monorail trains like this? where can you get them?

  • Disney World and Disneyland. $70.00

  • Where did you get the double track pylons? I've been looking for those since 2000 when monorail red came out.

  • They were sold briefly by a modelshop via Ebay. "Dons Trains" ebay ID don6233. Perhaps Don can be coaxed into making more. I'd like some too.

  • That was awesome...So was the construction for the uhhhh long awaited Monorail line to the Disney-MGM Studios???

  • I'd rather they connect the Animal Kingdom or perhaps run a spur out to my house.

  • Wow wee wow wow! That was the most gripping film about monorails I've ever seen! And amazing attention to detail! As a former WDW costumer, I can tell you that that hat is the real deal. All monorail operators serving more than 10 years are required to wear it on the job AND at home.

Seriously, enjoyed the film, but am also a little worried that Paul might be taken out by Disney Intellectual Property hitmen. Lay low for a while, please.

  • Well, that explains those dang helicopters! However, I know they can't read my thoughts when I'm wearing my Monorail Captain Helmet.

  • couldn't hear the commentary very well but good film! These working monorail toys would've been a dream for me when I was a kid!

  • They're a dream now. I try to avoid dialog because my little digital camera barely has a microphone. It will record a photographers breathing reasonably well but little else. Thanks!

  • do you live in Portland OR?

  • PORTOLAND, U.S.A. (Orlando, FL) Provides best monorail access.

  • PORTOLAND, U.S.A. (Orlando, FL) Provides best monorail access.

  • great video, but where did you get the suppots from that holds the two tracks?? I want some! lol :P

  • I got them from a hobby store on ebay. Ebay user don623 aka Don's Trains. Perhaps Don can be convinced to make more. I need more too.

  • oh yes, Monorail Purple just came on ebay ..

  • Now I'm watching a few different monorails on ebay, a black one I might be able to get for 15.50..

  • That's rather cheap.

  • yes, thats why I hope to get it...

  • Another great film Paul! Loved the cool title graphics. For a while there I thought your copilot might be me!!

  • It wasn't you?

  • WoW !!!! Awsome vid !!!! You have six of them..including two DisneyLand Mk 5 monorails..Monorail Blue and Silver, where did you get those ? I also just ordered the Contemperory resort accessory on ebay. I'm watching a black and red monorail on ebay

  • Thanks. There are six. One Disneyland. Five Disney world. Two are modified to have six cars and two motors. (Red and Gold) The others are the original five car monorails (Yellow, Black and the new blue one.) I never did get a purple one. They still sell the Contemporary hotel for forty dollars. Don't pay too much. I might take a break from monorail movies for a little while.

  • only 40, I paid, 63 $ for it..where did you get the Disneyland one?, I saw that same color one only once on another site..did they make any other Disneyland Monorails though ? Where did you get the extra cars for Gold and Red ? When I get the contemparary then I'll make more vids again..

  • They're made from combined parts from some damaged ones I bought on ebay. There was a short Disneyland set sold for a short time. It only included the front and back cabs. I got my Disneyland monorail at Disneyland. There were two all-chrome Disneyworld versions sold during a Disneyana convention. They're a bit expensive for chrome paint. They show up on ebay occasionally.

  • One time I saw a Red monorail on ebay that had no front car. I know there was the DisneyLand mini peir set, that was the one with the front and back..Did the DisneyLand Monorail come in any other colors or was it just blue ?

  • I've only ever seen it in blue.

  • woops voreprey my other account...

  • So you live in Brazil too?

  • I use that account to roleplay , its an online alias...

  • This video is now Lynch family approved. =)

  • Thank you very much. Do you need an address for sending donations?

  • Very well done.

  • Thank you for not rating me a "3" this time.
