This is stupid...Everything you're talking about has to do with time advantage. In my opinion they are both kindda bad. But I rather watch Naruto Shippuden. I also think the fighting in naruto is better. DBZ is just punch and kick after punch and kick and then energy attack...Naruto uses technicalities like Tai Gen and Ninjutsu and also the elemental properties add a good kick as well. DBZ's fighting is so simple and I guess that's why people like it.

@DutchAndFree I read the entire manga of Dragonball, seen every single episode of DB, DBZ, & DBGT. I've also saw all of the anime movies related to this series. I am very much a fan of DB however it is severally overrated by the masses who refuse to ignore that lack of depth involved with DBZ in general. Sorry but there was a ton of anime that far surpass DBZ in quality plot & character development. Not to mention action sequences since DBZ is outdated at this point.

DBZ has no substance. The story is pretty much non existent. Goku is also mentally retarded. Character development is also non existent. The development translates into training & screaming on panel. Note you said DBZ so we're not factoring in DB where the actual interesting story takes place.

To be honest Naruto has a better storyline and graphics as good if not better then kai but don't get me wrong I grew up watching dbz. They are about the same. Dragonball z was the 90's Naruto, Bleach and One piece are the new breed! ( PS Naruto owns Bleach and One Piece ).

Naruto's soundtrack is more diverse in the music it has and each song fits the situation its used in perfectly. The truth is that Naruto can reach a wider audience than DBZ it's a know fact that DBZ is big but on very popular anime watching websites such as anime freak Naruto Shippuden is the top of the favourite 20 anime's and Dragon Ball Z isn't even on there I mean even D. Gray-man is on there and that series ended 2 years ago. I'll be honest I've watched around 60-70 episodes and I don't fell that the story has progressed a great deal simply because it has taken 20 episodes for one person to die. :(

The thing with DBZ is that it got boring for me, although it was one of my first anime i ever watched when i was a kid but it really got boring for me after a while because its all the same shit, superhumans that can fly and shoot powerful energies out of their hands, not much else (although there is more powers probably).

well, imo these are a few reasons why i like naruto better.1 it has a story 2 every character is not useless except the main one 3 the fights are more in detail and well thought out where dbz is just really fast punches that you cant see 4 it has more emotional scenes. most scenes in dbz were ruined because they could be easily brought back with the dragonballs 5 variety of diff. characters/powers6 fights also involve intelligence i <3 dbz but i think people just say its better b/c of memories.

And its true that Naruto wouldnt of been made if not for DBZ, but your being ignorant in your claims that Naruto doesnt have something thats better than DBZ. Naruto's soundtrack is more diverse in the music it has and each song fits the situation its used in perfectly. As for character development, Sakura went from doing nothing to being super strong and a good healer. Gaara went from crazy to a pacifist.

The truth is that Naruto can reach a wider audience than DBZ it's a know fact that DBZ is big but on very popular anime watching websites such as anime freak Naruto Shippuden is the top of the favourite 20 anime's and Dragon Ball Z isn't even on there I mean even D. Gray-man is on there and that series ended 2 years ago. I'll be honest I've watched around 60-70 episodes and I don't fell that the story has progressed a great deal simply because it has taken 20 episodes for one person to die. :(

The thing with DBZ is that it got boring for me, although it was one of my first anime i ever watched when i was a kid but it really got boring for me after a while because its all the same shit, superhumans that can fly and shoot powerful energies out of their hands, not much else (although there is more powers probably).

well, imo these are a few reasons why i like naruto better.1 it has a story 2 every character is not useless except the main one 3 the fights are more in detail and well thought out where dbz is just really fast punches that you cant see 4 it has more emotional scenes. most scenes in dbz were ruined because they could be easily brought back with the dragonballs 5 variety of diff. characters/powers6 fights also involve intelligence i <3 dbz but i think people just say its better b/c of memories.
