Stephan doesn't deserve a penny of your money, the base engine rips Zelda off so badly it's not even funny, in fact originally this was Zelda online, but they got in trouble and swapped it to graal, some time later they decided to charge for it, Uhuh, they're making capital on a crappy Zelda clone, and got away with it by changing the name, and adding the possibility of making 'Zelda with guns', which doesn't work too well. You buy meth and it would be a more worthwhile purchase.
@Nitemare292 : This isn't entirely true, Graal's engine has undergone significant changes throughout the years and even the original Zelda Online was not a rip of LTTP engine itself, more so the levels/graphics, which have also been phased out for the most part after all this time.
Having said, an adventure server on similar lines to Zelda has been terribly missed for a long time, Graal is now more of a development platform rather than a collection of servers built towards a design or purpose.
@ClassicGraal I've seen graal in recently, yes, there are scripts, and many still hold a definate resemblance to Zelda, the fact that Stephan even started charging for this is still stupid, last I remember it was somewhere around $30, I wouldn't even spend a $5 on it, I was lucky enough to break the rules and share an account and see firsthand that it ain't worth the damn money. As for scripted servers, they go out of their way to screw trial players, look at era, trial players only fire blanks.

I remember this game from my teen years.. back when it was a Zelda rip-off. and you know, I know it was, but it was a lot of fun as well, it was more fun than the trash I am seeing on this vid.
I played the game 12 years ago, back when it was in the early stages... my brothers best friend helped create it.. back before you had to pay and the only world was Graal classic.. . When people mostly played nice.. there was the occasional PK.. but you made friends instead of boosting yourself up. It was like having another life, a real RPG.. I dont play anymore. Costs too much and ppl are now in it for the fun of friends.
They need to redo their subscription payments. Bring back lifetime or start a cashshop. If Graal v6 doesn't succeed with anything worth playing, I'm leaving this crap game forever.

The only thing Graal has going for it right now is GraalOnlineClassic for the Ipod, because it keeps the Zelda-style that it used to have (which I think was it's true selling point, the fact that it was like Link to the past on a multiplayer scale), and because at least the free version has unlimited play.
It's too bad that Ipod controls suck. If I could get the EXACT same game for the PC, I might just pay the 4 bucks or so for the full version.

the games on the website dont represent whats actually worth playing in my opinion. i prefer the classic one too. if you download the client however, you will find a lot more than you bargained for. try Unholy nation or just Classic as well.

Tig Ryoko has a point tho :\ observer mode gets really annoying on Zodiac, Era or even Un if your in the middle of a spar then go obs :\ why not just put trials back to how they were... ?
There is still trial phase, except you have observer mode for a few minutes. Observer mode is not permanent, if you log into the game and wait for Observer mode to end (which is only a minute long), you can play again.

Every wow player I know is over 18, and I know about 30 of them in real life.... just by chance mind you, I don't belong to any geek clubs. So I think that statistic is bunk.

@MooGoesTheDolphin No it's free. You CAN buy it to get extra features but if you just want to talk and stuff you can get a free version on the iPhone. Strangely they don't have it on computer anymore >.<

Tig Ryoko has a point tho :\ observer mode gets really annoying on Zodiac, Era or even Un if your in the middle of a spar then go obs :\ why not just put trials back to how they were... ?

There is still trial phase, except you have observer mode for a few minutes. Observer mode is not permanent, if you log into the game and wait for Observer mode to end (which is only a minute long), you can play again.

Every wow player I know is over 18, and I know about 30 of them in real life.... just by chance mind you, I don't belong to any geek clubs. So I think that statistic is bunk.

and where dare I ask do you get your stats from? I am just talking about people I speak to regularly. I have met a ridiculous number of people over 18 who play although they must all live near me. I have maybe ran 20-30 small guilds since the game came out and every time I admit I have one or two random 12 year olds out of 25+ people I recruit and the rest claim to be over 18. So I think you have fucked stats bud.

Theres guys I used to play with, im talking THOUSANDS that cut school just to play WoW,I know of 50+ guilds, that are shown ON THE WoW WEBSITE, that say "to join you must be under 18", and theres HUNDREDS of people in each of them, just because YOU have met people over 18 that play WoW, does not mean that most people are over 18 on WoW, seriously, theres MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF PLAYERS, how the fuck are you going to call my stats fucked when your comparing hundreds, against millions?

Because you named an exact stat. You said 58% I just wonder where you get that exact percentage from. I understand your logic, it seems like a lot of people who are younger play WoW. I subbed for a Junior high about 3 years ago and saw that a ton of the students were playing it. Also found out a lot of the teachers were and then when I left that job for a software engineering job I found most of the guys there also played (all over 18).
