The remainder usually recommend further analysis or more research. Recorded data from only 2 sites and historical data from 2 more sites is not enough to be statistically significant.

If 45% of the co2 we emit is staying the atmosphere, and assuming the amount of co2 we are emiting is going up, then that is a problem.

So this conclusion is in the 2007 IPCC report already.
What's more, only a portion of computer models have factored in a significant increase in airborne fraction. As with all things in climate change study, there are worst case scenarios and best case scenarios. (Best case scenarios are still not particularly good for humans, worst case scenarios are very very bad).
Check out realclimate titled "Positive feedbacks from the carbon cycle" for a summary of where the science was at a few years ago. Notice the level of uncertainity in the language.

What I want to say is concerning this paper and the naivety using this paper to say Gore is wrong. I don't really care who are those people you mentioned. AGW is pseudoscience for profit. They have not even come close to proving that warming is caused by man. They ignore the fact that some of our human activities in fact create a cooling effect like the release of aerosols and particulates actually blocks out sunlight and generates light-reflecting cloud layers, especially over densely populated and highly industrialized regions.
Data for aerosols are so limiting so far. it is possible that aearosols will cool down temperature though. But the reality is, based on meteorology station data, the earth temperature is increasing.
It is easy to find this paper in the video. OK, look at fig1 of this paper and use you common sense, is it a sharp increase of atmospheric CO2 after 1950? Recorded data from only 2 sites and historical data from 2 more sites is not enough to be statistically significant.

Im all for alternate energy and trying to keep the earth clean. I can't profess to know anything about such a complex system like global climate. I do, however, believe that the alarm and propaganda from the believers side far out weigh the deniers. Nothing so complex can be written on paper and understood. The only way to know is to make mistakes and admit those mistakes. The fear that is associated with the whole issue is kinda nutty...

Rather irresponsible reporting - unfortunately most people will not take the time to figure out that the research is concerned with "the BALANCE between the airborne and the absorbed fraction" rather than the overall levels of atmospheric CO2!
The research furthers our understanding of man made climate change, rather than disproving it.

No, none of the models assume that the airborne fraction has increased.
Its in AR4, Chapter 7: "There is yet no statistically significant trend in the CO2 growth rate as a fraction of fossil fuel plus cement emissions since routine atmospheric CO2 measurements began in 1958. This airborne fraction has shown little variation over this period."

The 'airborne fraction' refers to the percentage of co2 that we emit that stays in the atmosphere. The recent finding confirms what was said in the 2007 IPCC report.
This is NOT the total level of co2 in the atmosphere. That is going up.
If 45% of the co2 we emit is staying the atmosphere, and assuming the amount of co2 we are emiting is going up, then that is a problem.

The AGW alarmists' computer models assume that the ability of oceans and terrestrial ecosystems to absorb additional CO2 is nearing its limit, so that additional CO2 (from burning fossil fuels) will have an increasing effect on atmospheric CO2 levels, compared to CO2 emissions from the past. This research indicates that assumption is wrong. Back to the drawing board.

I hate to call you foolish or an ignoramous, that would be an insult to fools and ignorant people everywhere. You have failed to understand "fraction," thinking it means CO2/total atmosphere in this paper. It doesn't. It means CO2 retained in atmosphere/CO2 emitted by man. So, about half the CO2 we emit stays in the atmosphere and this hasn't changed.

Those AGW models are based on the assumption that the fraction is increasing. Its not, the earth is capable of handling CO2 now and for a long time to come. Get out your copy of IPCC AR4, chapter 7:
"There is yet no statistically significant trend in the CO2 growth rate as a fraction of fossil fuel plus cement emissions since routine atmospheric CO2 measurements began in 1958. This airborne fraction has shown little variation over this period."
So this conclusion is in the 2007 IPCC report already.

What's more, only a portion of computer models have factored in a significant increase in airborne fraction. As with all things in climate change study, there are worst case scenarios and best case scenarios. (Best case scenarios are still not particularly good for humans, worst case scenarios are very very bad).
Check out realclimate titled "Positive feedbacks from the carbon cycle" for a summary of where the science was at a few years ago. Notice the level of uncertainity in the language.

It's true, politicians are not born environmentalist. However, in my opinion, the final solution(if we can find one) will still rely on the politicians . It's sad. I know.

AGW is pseudoscience for profit. They have not even come close to proving that warming is caused by man. They ignore the fact that some of our human activities in fact create a cooling effect like the release of aerosols and particulates actually blocks out sunlight and generates light-reflecting cloud layers, especially over densely populated and highly industrialized regions.

Data for aerosols are so limiting so far. it is possible that aearosols will cool down temperature though. But the reality is, based on meteorology station data, the earth temperature is increasing.

It is easy to find this paper in the video. It says "It is shown that with those uncertainties, the trend in the airborne fraction since 1850 has been 0.7 ±1.4% per decade, i.e. close to and not significantly different from zero." OK, look at fig1 of this paper and use you common sense, is it a sharp increase of atmospheric CO2 after 1950? As this paper cited, there are other models using different stat. methods did prove the significant increase of atm. CO2.
