In DDR Extreme, they recycle the background clips for other songs. For example, the red chase guys are in the background for Maximizer and Trip Machine Survivor. You'll notice that the background vids for Trip Machine and Paranoia Eternal are also very similar. In DDR Extreme 2, however, each song has its own unique video.

There are plenty of things that are good about DDR. Just because ITG is better doesn't mean DDR isn't good at all. Why do you think the developers of ITG even made the game? They all started off with DDR, and they loved the game, so they decided to extend it. Embrace and extend.

I don't agree with FishFoodAndStuff. I think ITG is actually better for the reasons just19 mentioned. Both games have comparable soundtracks tho (although I like KaW's trance style over Naoki's euro style).
