Ugh I hate it when people complain about paint! Being honest, photoshop doesn't do much more than GIMP except it has better filters, crisper lines and speeds up the process a tad. Paint does the job so well!

You don't need a tablet either, but some people fail with a mouse (like me :P)

Lol yeah, I mean some people can't draw with mice, like me, but a lot of people just waste huge amounts of money buying them, and they buy the really good ones, again, a complete waste lol.

I have Photoshop and Paint but i prefer to use Paint. Its what i started out with, and its much simpler. Sometimes if i want to do some fancy effects or shading, ill put my lineart into Photoshop. But its confusing when you first start using it though. I still find it hard to use! And, yeah, a tablet doesnt make you a better artist guys! It makes it easier to draw on the computer. But for some, its harder. It depends on you. I get by with my mouse just fine. :P

GIMP doesn't have the correct blur in my opinion. And my GIMP doesn't have a grass/leaf brush. D: Is it supposed to..?

@xBlackkatt I know! But I don't need a tablet, but it improved my art because I'm better with a pencil then a touchpad. :P

To get the sketch to go away but not the black lines you:

1.Select the sketch color

2.Select the eraser

3.hold down the right mouse and erase the scetch!

How do you do scetch on MS PAINT?!?!?!

You just doodle in a color other than black, then after you ink it you can right click on the color you used for the sketch and click on the eraser. Then to make it bigger you click ctrl and + to make it bigger, and then you press and hold right click and move it over the sketch to erase the lines. I'm terrible at tutorials though, so I'm not sure how good it'll help, but...yush. X3

I hardly ever use Photoshop anymore, unless I'm coloring a picture I drew on paper, or I'm drawing a really, REALLY complicated picture that I'd lose the patience to draw on Paint. MS Paint is pwnage! lol

I drew with paint earlier, but the problem was that I didn't know how tu use it fully.

AND i can't find any good tutorial.... :(

So I use Art Rage 2.5 that I think is just easy-to-use thingy.

I agree with your thingy in the description, Wavestorm. I draw very good on paint and even if I used photoshop or something else, doesn't mean that I can't do good on paint...I probably can't draw on photoshop anyways...(I only have paint)

I actually draw better on paint...I usually transfer the picture to Gimp to shade it... and yeah, Gim is basically the same thing as Photoshop, ppls!

Hey wavestorm, I saw that you erased all of the red without taking out any of the black. How did yu do taht? I'm so confused and it takes me like an hour and a half to take out the red when I do a speedpaint O.o if it's just your natural skill, I'll understand XD just wondering if it's a tool.
