@pdutube It's 4.6 miles and 2800' vertical. It was pretty close in those thermals but can get even tighter. I got the 'low save of the day' and 'low glide to the beach' awards for the day.
@flyhghgy Thanks. The handsome, recently-engaged couple watched me glide out from the mountain, over the ocean then land. He is a non-certified HG pilot in Slovakia and visiting SB thru December. I suggested he take lessons locally and get a proper certification and FAI IPPI card so he can do the same flight. Hopefully, he follows through and gets to land on the beach himself. Then I'll take the photo of him with his arm around his fiancee/wife.
@MaartenSpoek I'm still waiting for her fiance to send me the photos he took of us. Good thing I left the GoPro running or it would sound like a 'fish story'.
@mellowmoods420 Would have been great to have you out there. It wasn't epic but it was a fun day w/ a lot of beach landings and the cool breezes along the shore were great on this hot day.
definitely a good ending to flight. we all dream of that when we start!

Must be the camera lens but my arse was puckering up as
went on glide to the LZ,the seabreeze must have been good
looking at the height over the sea though or was that the funky
camera angle?
