  • I played the Fon mixes almost to death 'back in the day'. It's like a who's who of my favourite electronic producers of the time.

This and Mark Gamble's 'Dragnet And Peter Gunn Have A Day At The Races (Interlude 3)' were my top tracks of the album.

  • This is not a remix by prodigy, this song is on the best of AON album exactly. Give credit to AON on this they actually did it. Pick up their best of album you'll see what I'm talking about

  • @myglassarmy This is a Prodigy (Liam Howlett) remix from the 1991 album 'The Art of Noise : The Fon Mixes'. It was also featured on the 1992 version of 'The best Of AON' album, but it's also credited there as a Prodigy remix.

  • The visuals in the sky are definitely from Kubrick's Space Odyssey! Love the song and the movie. Nice mix of Prodigy, Art Of Noise and Kubrick.

  • unfortunately i never heard original track, so i don't know how much prodigy is in this song and how much art of noise, but anymway it kicks asssss...

  • I have been into AON since an early age, but I only found out about this 1991 track in 1997! In fact the whole FON mixes album is just awesome,it's one of my prized possessions is my CD of this album, got it on cassette as well!

  • at first it sounded crazy but when the beat came in it sounded epic.

  • @AlisFromFinland

  • Does anybody know what car is at 2:04 - 2:06?

    Is it 1970's Volkswagen?

  • For real Noise, check out DjBurningA's Chanal!

  • @IchDerComputerFreak Art of Noise is Artist's name, it's not noise as in music genre.

  • Comment removed

  • @zlance4012 - No, it's noise. Even for a group not exactly known for coherent music to begin with.

  • man I have been looking for this song for a while, thanks a ton for the upload, i'll prolly listen to it everyday now. the memories of the 90s, thanks again

  • I used to Dj i the early nineties and the roof would come off the place when this got played. Still sounds fucking fantastic

  • This song sounds like Prodigy's Crazy Man and G-Force had a baby.

  • WE ARE ONE PEOPLE !

  • Video seems to be damaged from 0:54 'til end.

New upload would be great !!!

  • @Zoggah dude this video a crap i doesn't work i disliked it

  • still a killer!

  • absolutely genial!

  • this song was pretty cool

  • This track, like so many others of this genre/era, still makes me go absolutely fucking mental.

During the early 90s I remember feeling like I was the only one in Sweden who listened to this type of music. Timeless stuff.

  • Had a record by Art of Noise with this track on it but some disturbed drugabusers stole it from me!!! I'm pissed! But thx occisMORT for the priceless upload man....

  • An excellent remix by the Prodigy. Somehow i don't grow tired of it. Maybe it's the combination of AON's quirky sounds and words flavoured with the Prodigy noises and beats.

  • @Hyper5nic prodigy doesn't make noise...prodigy does magic:X:X

  • Comment removed

  • Well, that wasn't much of a noise...

...let's not let everybody play too safe.

And now the fuse is lit.

  • A lesser known Prodigy moment but for me the ultimate Prog. mash up. Shreddin' rave core.

  • For me this is one of the, if not the best em track ever. This is just so incredibly pushing. Probably posted this somewhere before but can't post it often enough.

  • somebody get me a whistle

  • Was the Prodigy Remix was the version this one was or was it the final version Art of Noise released, cause I remember this version only.

  • Only one and original version is the first track, side two (vynil) of the album "The Art of Noise- Invisible Silence" released in 1986.Then they released, "Art of Noise-The Fon Mixes", in 1991, and this version is the first track of the cd.

  • Thanks xD

  • classic! thanks!

  • hahahahaha, holeee shit. XD

  • Sweeeeet xD Acid ftw idd =P

  • Acid? xD

  • une longueur d'avance pour l'époque!

  • C'est clair, Art of Noise et Prodigy, un duo gagnant ^^)

  • i just saw Better Living Through Circuitry and ravers are just modern day hippies.

  • you could be right ,i look at today's life style and its almost completely borrowed and people do get scared when its new.new version of an old scene .when i went to raves i saw 1 fight in 4 years.look at all the stabbings thats wrong.

  • rap music promotes violence, rock creates an energy usually associated with being somewhat tough - at classic raves and still techno raves today you see people hugging each other, complimenting each other and basically just a perfect atmosphere for a good night out, thats my opinion anyway

  • On metal concerts in Finland, people support each other. If one falls, the people around makes space for him/her to get up and then helps him/her up. The feeling is like... Being a huge family :D. It's all about culture among the fans, not the music itself.

  • comradery isnt fun, though. especially with metal.

  • Would you mind elaborating a bit on that statement? Obviously, people here think it's fun, since we do it... Friendship and common ground is always fun, imo.

  • true, every single word. The Rave culture is all about acceptance

  • thanks mate, Bang On!!

  • @Twentysixbillion .. rap music creates equal energy only people can dance and look good!

  • @Twentysixbillion .. and 1 more thing classic rave music(as you call it but i never would) is made up of rap beats and samples and prodigy were a uk rap act.. you just shot yourself in the foot 3 ways in one comment .. round of applause.. toy

  • @bobbitt187 prodigy rap, yes? you just teabagged yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • @donpedro0099 WTF you on about?!

  • @bobbitt187 since when prodigy are rap ?!

  • @donpedro0099 liam and maxim were in 1988.. liam producing for 'cut to kill' and maxim a rapper in another act.. they were not actually called prodigy until around 1990.. 'smack my bitch up' is an ultramagnetic mcs line and 'horns of jehrico is sampled from uk rap group 'hijack'!! ya knowww.. put people from greece would never know such things.. its not your fault! 8-)

  • @bobbitt187 fantasize much?

  • @Twentysixbillion

you just dont know anything about music..its not your fault you are just not hardcore!

    look for sample -

    Just-Ice - Latoya (1986)

and Ultramagnetic MC's - smack my bitch up

    also reggae sample!

    Peter Tosh-Out Of Space..

need any more help come check me man!

  • @bobbitt187 ""you just dont know anything about music""

I have been mixing vinyl for 9 years and I am now solidly into production, music is the biggest part of my life. I have been to many "hardcore" raves. I will not even justify your stupid comment with reading anymore of it. Please know what you are talking about before having strong opinions.

  • @Twentysixbillion

You got him haha im into rave scene by my sister since1992, 1993 had my first 200$ Australian jeans and suite, and never lost that scene but prefer the fat ass bassline of dubstep. Parkzicht / Rotterdam first rave introduction in NL in 1990.

  • @Twentysixbillion 9 years!!.. rofl..so you missed all the decent music by about a decade.. noob. i was raving to prodigy in 92 aged 15!! dont put neg comments about rap music here.. go drive your round ayers rock!!

  • @Twentysixbillion wow 11 thumbs up from yt nerds across the globe.. lifetime achievement award goes to music noob from oz!! big up!

  • @Twentysixbillion im from london.. im not trying to tell you background on 'tie your kangaroo down sport' am i ? no because i dont know about that !! i showed you rap tunes prod sampled so technically some prod is rap music.. i win. you loose.. hit the mixing desk and make some ear hurting tunes!!

  • @bobbitt187 Your crazy man

  • @Twentysixbillion thanks for the laughs!!!! LOL

  • @bobbitt187 Prodigu are not , have never been or will be rap. End of story.

  • @verapamil07 liam and maxim come from a rap background and they sample rap music on prodigy tunes amongst other things.. that is all!

  • @Twentysixbillion STFU you pretentious cunt.

  • @Twentysixbillion

Other fact when rave started here in netherlands after 3 a 4 years hardcore started a root of rave, followed by gabbers but went from gabbers to, Nationalists and you know what after, hatecrime still today raving streets ? and with rave people hugging each other, thats just the XTC.

    Cheers

  • so are u going to define it or jus give me thumbs down and or insult me?

  • define raving? wtf man you been living under a rock? you need to get out more

  • ok i don't listen to techno or even dance to it... i'm not sure what raving means perfectly but i think its some form of danceing like i said in my other comment[jumpin around]
