  • Man, I loved this game when I was little. Now I can appreciate the artistry in those pixels. Thanks for uploading : )

  • ...A CDi Game that is... Good???

  • Wow, CD-i and "nice" in the same sentence? :P

  • @SamuraiSam The CD-i is by no means an amazing game system in my book (both on the hardware and software end), but I have to give credit where it's due and it had some noteworthy strengths. For a system in 1991, its color display matched or exceeded other consoles on the market and could display games at a resolution up to 768×560, which was crazy impressive for its time. Few games really tapped into the CD-i's abilities and are "interactive", but those that did range from decent to impressive.

  • @Vysethedetermined2 True, it and the 3DO were ahead of its time in terms of hardware. Shame that they didn't have the games to do it real justice.

  • @Vysethedetermined2, great video! Have you tried using the CD-i mouse? From what I know, it's compatible with every CD-i game.

  • @dave4shmups Thanks! Unfortunately, I don't have the mouse or any other extra controllers right now, so I just have to settle with the one controller I have. I haven't played any game yet that requires so much precision that I needed another controller though... although "Mutant Rampage: Bodyslam" came close and I imagine "The Apprentice" will too.

  • From all the gameplay recordings I've seen so far, this game is a #1 must-buy for every CD-i (which I might get Saturday, lol) games collector.

  • @Highretrogamelord89

Oh wait, that was "The Apprentice". >_>
