Alesis DM8 USB Kit Unboxing and Setup Part 2 of 3

Hello! I've been considering an electronic kit for a while now, however it has come to my attention that I'm going to need an amplifier or some sort of speaker system to hear these drums without headphones. I was wondering what you used for the sound output. Thanks!

I have the DM6 kit and the "mounting the bass pedal issue" is similar. It's impossible to make a good mechanical connection.  And using a double-kick pedal makes the whole flimsy assembly too wobbly. To solve this, I attached both the pedal and the kick stand to a single sheet of metal (the bolts on the underside of the plate grab the carpet). Now, it's more stable than most governments in Europe and I can play as hard as I want.

Have you noticed anything that you dislike about the set? Would you recommend it as a first electronic set? :)

So you go to toontrack site, and you put what serial number?? The alesis serial number? and then you can download EZDrummer?

@xenon9000000 Hi, no bass drum pedal is included with the kit. I'm using an old Pearl double bass pedal. Any pedal should work - single or double. The bass trigger pad is big enough.
