@ornirus Its autodesk's Maya. You can get it for free. Type in goodle Students Autodesk Maya and you should be able to find their student community site. Also worth checking out their other program 3DSmax which is just as good. Both good for animation and graphics design.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I missed this spotlight, this is exactly what i'm working on right now, i'm very glad i got the workflow down, graph editor has been my best friend lately. I just noticed that she has 3x the polygons that the character i am working on has, that's refreshing! I was hoping I could add more details.

As someone studying animation i would love to see more commentrys like this as its great to watch and get an inside feel on the people who work in the industry. Its no technical walkthrough but it odes give an insight to working at a proffesional level.

they use autodesk maya, its a program similar to autodesk 3ds max. Maya is actually easier to use and better with animation. A lot of games use this program.
