the video I think was well done, the song is powerful, and transitions excellent. I have to say I was dissapointed with 300 because of the hollywood exaggerations and deviance from the true history. That reflects hollywood's lust for extravagance. However I feel that you captured the true spirit of this story with this amazing song by a great band. I must applaud, though I think you can use the Mercenary quite well with 300. Just an Idea.

I do wish to explain now, what Hollywood was thinking.

The battle of the 300 Spartans was a true event. No, it was not so glamorous in the movie...but the movie is not ACTUALLY depicting the real battle.

Stick with me...

"300" the Movie is based on "300" the Graphic Novel by Frank Miller (creator of "Sin City"). The Graphic Novel is based on an older movie...which, in turn, is based on factual events.

As the Movie is based on the Graphic Novel...it is VERY true to it's base. "300" by Frank Miller is a powerful read.

The Movie added some things, but they were tied in seamlessly so that they really, really fit.

This cd really put Maiden back on the map. Almost every song can be used for movies with this intense drama. My kids were about 6 when I first played this cd for them and this was their favorite track (gotta start the kids young on Maiden) Nice job

Thanks. The way the song flows makes things a little more difficult. There are few "bangs" or "crashes" to time things with, which is a personal favorite thing of mine to do in a vid.

Blood Brothers kind of floats on along, and timing is just a tad harder.
