In addition to my last comment....I knew nothing about computers and within 3 months obtained a worldwide accredited professional I.T. certification. New Horizons of Gainesville was unwaivering in supporting me to not only pass a test but fully understand the concepts they teach. I am able to retake courses that I need to to ensure that I know the material without be required to pay additional money and this is not an approach found in traditional colleges. Thank-you Gainesville New Horizons !!!
The Gainesville branch of New Horizons is a state-of-the-art facility in all aspects from the facility itself such as computer equipment for students. There has been no expense that has been spared in quality of environment. The staff are always available to accommodate the needs of the students. The instructors have been available around the clock for one-on-one training. I have had emails answered at 1 am to questions. They make time for you and will make sure you succeed.........
You can't afford to make the wrong decision based on fear, end up with thousands of dollars in debt after receiving poor training that won't get you any of the supposed "pie in the sky" jobs promised by those who want you to give them money. Google "New Horizons complaints" and find out the many problems people have had with this company. Get quality training through books and dvds that cost at most a few hundred rather than poor training costing thousands.
At NHGainesville we have Adobe #1 instructor, ranked top 25 by Microsoft 6x last year and my Cisco guy is brilliant! I created this ad to get people think about the 2-6 yr options vs our 6-9 mo options at NHG. Employers want more than DVD trained students, in Gainesville we are all about helping students get the job once they complete their certifications. Come to NHG to see the difference! Btw 500 character limits suck;), As the owner of this location, our goal is to help every student!
I want to add a few more thoughts. While we are a franchise network, each location is independently operated, most all of what you reference in a search is 10 years old, and 5 years back NHCorp mgmt. changed over and the new guys have done a good job of clean up centers. Dont paint with a broad brush, look at each location based on performance, investigate state license, ask to speak to current and former student, audit classes, and speak to instructors. All New Horizons are not the same.
