The first creature was a Daemon, that massize thing at 16:06 is a Daemonlord

Their Daemons. The first you saw was a Daemonlord. When killed, those split into three Daemons, which in turn split into three Daemonlings. However, when overkilled they do not split at all. It's remotely like Minecraft's Slimes and Magma Cubes.

Believe it or not, I have tried and succeeded at soloing Magicka using NOTHING but ASS and ARSE for the entire game. Outside the tutorial, I didn't cast a single other spell, simply to see if its possible to go through the game, as it were, ASS-first. (pun SOOOOO intended)
