I lived in North Detroit, nice white area you might think... Well, I went to Techno parties in Hamtramck, to illegal after parties close to Mack av. Being the only white dude and being 6foot9 I kinda stood out, I was never mugged, robbed, or anything else in 2years.

haha Detroit is so sad, it's like the biggest ghetto in the United States, and if you go 20 minutes North to Troy, you're in Suburbia heaven where everyone is making great money and drives 2 vehicles and doesn't have to worry about crime. It's pretty disgusting.

well I'm tired of lookin at the suburbs. what's wrong with an outside facade that looks like that? what's wrong with that abandoned house? what's the problem? there's no problem to look at it. We dont like the suburbs either. The suburbs are only grass and plastic. grass and plastic. i dont find broken wood sad to the eye. i dont care. in fact i find it beautiful. i find the suburbs scary. theres nothting real there. But forgotten things are sad and scary too, places people have left to rubble.

yeah i don't like the suburbs either. But if you're going to live in a 'city-centre', I'm pretty sure you want something more than endless abandoned houses. Okay some here and there isn't bad, but Detroit is just blocks after blocks of abandon broken up houses, ghost neighborhoods basically.

yeah man ill live in filth. I'll live everywhere to be exact. I'll live in all the parts of thsi nation, and i wanna walk through everywhere. But people in the suburbs, to fuckingepic, only respect others property becuase they dont want the cops called on them. They're still peices of shit like everyone else. How can you expect this boy to go to school and have a positive learning experience when he has to look at and worry about passing these houses and living in that condition every day. I grew up in detroit and this breaks my heart. I haven't been a resident for quite some time now...I moved away 22 yrs ago and it breaks my heart to see my hometown in this condition. God Bless America, yeh right.

It's hard to get a job when you are 13 and pregnant, dropped out of school, and gone on assistance. Then, when you are 26 your a grandmother cause your daughter saw what you did and did the SAME thing! Boys drop out of school (cause it's not "cool" to be smart), and join gangs, steal from the few good people trying to make an honest living, rape and kill each other because they have no respect for human life. You have to break the cycle...and pulling your pants up might help! ;)
