  • I just picked up a pair in gloss white. At first I thought i had made a $200.00 mistake. The speakers sounded horrible and I wanted to go back to the Klipsh pro media, After about the 3hrs of tuning and re-tuning my iTune's EQ. The A2's sound "AWESOME.!" As for the Klipsh, they sound phenomenal for a plug-n-play set & well worth $150.00.

I'm now going to purchase the matching subwoofer. The A2's & sub paired up., There wount be anything on the maket that will touch it in it's class.

  • Wow forget the speakers I named! That's some high end equipment. ;)

  • Im curious to know why did you get Audioengine 2.1 instead of klipsch promedia 2.1 or logitech z623 ( I have this one). Because they have subwoofers and they have 200watts of power together. 130watt sub, 2x 35watt speakers.

  • @Joseph4Lakers This Audioengine A2 is not 2.1, its 2.0. I chose this because I didn't want a dedicated subwoofer.I'm using this in our bedroom so I don't need that much power..Might wake up the kids you know? This set is "just right" for my purpose. My main gaming sound set up consists of a pair of Bowers and Wilkins CM-1 bookshelf speakers paired with a Wadia 151 PowerDAC mini amplifier and all high end Audioquest USB, Rocket 33 bi wire speaker cables..These are all hardcore Audiophile stuffs.

  • Nice Unboxing :D

  • All black with no logos. Great look! Never heard of the brand, but looks like excellent build quality.
