@hariscool80298026 Thanks a lot for your comment! I am really pleased you liked my video from Stansted Airport. I have a few others as well, please take a look at my channel.
@Aviationnation10 With difficulty I'm afraid. You will need a car, or be prepared for an hour's walk I think. Have a look at my website for directions (locations).
@Aviationnation10 I think the route 510 goes near to Burton End village but not through it, I'm afraid I do not have the timetable or bus stops on the way. Check STN website for public transport links
@bananamanuk You dont have to walk if you have a car there is a place near the service's were you can park and you have a brilliant view of landing at departing aircraft's.
@Tyler99Wood thanks for your comment. I believe Aviationnation10 needed to know how to get to the viewing area without having a car. If you are referring to the Birchanger Green Motorway services, you do get aircraft flying over there but they are still quite high at even this close to the airport so a good lens would be required, hence Burton End is the preferred place.
@ThePingu2205 Hi the aircraft at 0:17 is a MyAir A320 in the Volkswagen Tegan colour scheme. MyAir no longer fly, and this was a one off visit to Stansted. Hope that helps.
@CaptBrooks78 You are very kind CaptBrooks78 It makes it all worthwhile when I know people enjoy the videos. It's not always easy to create something new and different each time but I am always extremely grateful for comments. I'm pleased you found my vids. Thanks again.
@stephentann Thanks very much stephentann I'm glad to hear you enjoyed both footage and music. Thank you for taking time to watch and comment, I appreciate it.
Walk isn't a problem for me. Anyway without ladder, which chances I get to spott in Stansted ? Is it safe to walk around the airport to get the spotting location ? As I read in your website, it's a motorway :S
@SiRaNaMaUe Hi, you can walk from the terminal building to the viewing area although there is no footpath, you must walk on the grass at the side of the road, and must be very careful. Another option may be for you to get a taxi from the terminal building to Ash Pub at Burton End. Then you can walk the short distance after.
Going from LIS to LHR next Monday, 24 May...and on 26 May I'm expected to be in Stansted to get the Air Asia X which arrive at around 5pm. I'll travel without car, I'll get he London Underground in Hatton Cross to Holborn, then to Liverpool Street and finally the bus to Stansted. Arrived at Stansted, how many time I need to get the spotting location walking ?
@SiRaNaMaUe Hello siRaNaMaUe i am sorry to say that the spotting location is a VERY long walk from the main terminal building.
If possible you need to get to the long stay car park and that is on the other side of the airport. From there you will have at least a 30 mins walk. HOWEVER, if the planes are landing on Runway 4, then you will see them coming overhead from the Long Stay Car park. I have put some directions on my website if you would like to look.
@mpwelk Hi thanks for your comment. Not sure I understand. Music is only in part of my video, - the title sequence. The rest of the video has aircraft sounds.
@bananamanuk Sorry about that - but lots of youtubers try to find videos that aren't polluted with music. I also don't like watching slideshows on youtube. Although your video has good content, I would suggest keeping the music out of the first 5 seconds of the video, or it's something I will just skip. Have a good one!
@bananamanuk PS - I have no problem with music in a video as long as it is MIXED with the original sound, or if there is no original sound to be heard (such as a video of clouds, or whatever). :0)
@mpwelk hi, thanks for your clarifications, I suppose it's a case of everyone has their own tastes and preferences/ opinions etc. Can never hope to please all the people all the time, but generally speaking I've had a very positive response tomy videos including the music. My aim is always to have a mixture of music - particularly in titles, with the main section using natural audio. I'm proud to capture pretty good audio hence I want to show that. Thanks again.
@planeanddrwho Hello planeanddrwho (hope you are enjoying the new series!!) filming at STN is VERY difficult, and photography for that matter. There is small mound but I also have a step ladder but I always stay very well back from the fence.
Hello 10khampton0728 thanks for your comment. The company in my London Stansted Video at 0:29 was Global Supply Systems they operate 3 x 747-400F on behalf of British Airways Cargo
It's a shame that yet another airline has gone from Stansted, Air Moldova has also left and now goes to LGW. I read somewhere that El-AL are using 767 and 777's at Luton.. I think the biggest I saw at Stansted was the 767.
Hi RyanairFR905 thanks for your comment, filming and editing is all about practice, trial and error and a lot of luck, just keep that in mind and keep being creative.
Hey BIASpotter, thanks for your comment, but don't put yourself down, I've seen some of your videos and they are good, i've just seen the one of the 757 under the moon and that is very very creative and well captured. I've got a few years experience over you, so all that means is that you have even longer to keep going out practising and getting the shots that you are happy with. No question that you are doing very well already though.
Very good vid :D
