Just 2 things i want to mention. Mario cart should not be included because it is just a sell out product riding on the coat tails of successful and familiar characters. I prefer old school platform mario.

Also..in response to the actual video.. This dude obviously missed the point of SMB2. All mario levels have a "most efficient" way to play. Eg.. All the ducks or wetf they were were lined up to create multiple extra life opportunities. So.. No, it is not a hacker game. :D

I bought the Japanese import version as well to counter those Westerners who bought the US version and don't know more than three words of Japanese or know even a bit of that Japanese culture.

And the packaging is superior with just a flap opening unlike the stupid US/NTSC version where they put a sticker that rips off part of the box leaving a white patch when you peel it like you should.

Nintendo of America even till today still has much to learn from Japan regarding how to pack the games.

the 25th Anniversary Super Mario Bros. thing looks some what like the sonic adventure 2 anniversary pack for the Dreamcast. it had the game itself, a history booklet, and a sound track. but the only thing the mario thing did not have was a coin.

The Game is still great and worth getting, but the Package could have been better... why didn't they let Nintendo of America do the American/PAL English version is beyond me. We all remember Yoshi's Island as a Super Mario game! And the package just totally dismisses it!

And what about Mario 2? on the list it's treated as the second game, but in the Book it shows the Japanese Version("Super Mario USA") and the Japanese version of the cartridge?

Sadly the game collection itself is 100% the same as the snes version - nintendo did'nt even changed the snes buttons in the menu. That's really really bad, because Nintendo is known for making good products, so you expect, that there is something new. Like goldandragoon said, there is no Super Mario World. A Super Mario 64 would be an option too. Or it would be nice to switch between old school and new look. But okay, it is still a nice collection, if you don't have the orginial snes version^^

What was even more noticeable was that the booklet was made in Japan, even for the english markets. It treats the American Mario 2 as if it was released in 1992, and doesn't treat Yoshi's Island as the Super Mario World sequel. the theme from Super Mario World 2 doesn't even appear on the music CD dang it.

Mostly because many reserved it and probably it'll go sold out by just "Reserves" till 3 Days are up and then you'll wait. So delayed for next Year? Well, that's just one Month. Do like I did, Go to a different Store and find a Copy (I did Target').

Is anyone else offended at the fact that they're releasing the same 17 year old game & selling it at retail prices? They couldn't add more games or update the graphics a little? Even if they updated the menus & put more behind-the-scenes features it would make me consider buying it.
