F*in awesome guys - " rob rob on helium - lol I shook hands with warrel back in sanctuary days - one of the most & coolest moments in my history. Rock on my good men ")!
Its a big plus that Jeff and Tim are headbanging like crazy...So rare to see guitarists of that caliber enjoying so much songs written by someone else, Sean Blosl in this case. Absolutely brilliant!!!
Quick story: freshman year in HS (1986) going to see Megadeth at Sundance on Long Island. Sanctuary opened up and I was blown away by Warrel's voice. I've been a huge fan ever since....and of course Nevermore.
He still sounded good there but like all great metal singers, they lose it after a while. It happened to the best even Halford, King Diamond, Geoff Tate, etc.
agreed..it does get harder with age..and it seems to happen out of the blue..halford was awsome during ressurrection..then during the reunion..he seem to lose some of his falshettos.. this is awsome..dane sounds good
I don't think he really can do it anymore. I can tell here and that was nearly 10 years ago. Its really tuff to do and you can't keep do it forever. But yes it does kick ass.
reminds me of how ridiculously good sanctuary was...glad this one made it into nevermore's set, and props to the guitarists for keeping key parts of the leads...
you hear some guy scream in the garden wen werrel says it off of refuge denied lol

Great vid -
Both Nevermore & Sanctuary rule.
Warrell does look like he's having to work hard nowadays to get those notes- but still hitting them Credit where it's due-
Other vocalists can't anymore- Russ Anderson (Forbidden), Eric A.K (Flotsam) - to name two-
