  • Well, I'm not a Bach expert, but I think this is a lovely and touching performance.

  • IMPRESIONANTE!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the comment.

Off course, this is not Koopman or Harnoncourt.

I would like to add a comment that the most of the member of Choir and Orchestra are amateur players.

I know that it will not be an excuse for the performance, though.

  • But I think the best in this piece is still Karl Richter.

  • The voices are not together or really in tune. The tempo is a little sluggish and there's too much reverberation making the notes blurred. It's no Koopman or Harnoncourt performance.

  • It's no harnoncourt or Koopman. performance. It's far from being a Suzuki performance. I would suggest you have a look at suzuki's rendition of this piece

  • I watched this video 2 days after Maria Himmelfahrt. The feast which has inspired Bach to write this kantate i guess. The trumpet sounds great! The voices are not good to hear. Maybe the quality of the recording is the cause of that.

  • Ecoutez la trompe. C'est habile.
