But west Bengal was separated from east by India, although India's language is not bangla, I am not sure whether Bengali people ever felt like they are the second class citizn in India, it would have been really good, if east and west Bengal were together making a strong and greater Bangladesh, and safe from all the troubles of India and Pakistan. Both Bangla rocks though! In cricket Ganguly was a big bengal star, now Tamim Iqbal!

In 1947 India was divided to accomodate the breakaway muslim population and creation of Pakistan. Till 1971 Bangladesh was called East Pakistan. It became an independant country with present name in 1971. Very few non muslim bengalis of India have roots in Bangladesh but almost everyone in Bangladesh has roots in India !!

No way. Bangladesh is a 3rd world country, it's rare to find fat people thats why they think people that are rich are always fat because they have money to eat. But I don't believe that at all, I think it depends all on your metabolism. Anyhow it's a good thing to be fat in Bangladesh but now the standards might have changed. This song is in bengali/bangla.. rani mukherjee would definetely understand it as she is bengali herself.

All bengalis regardless of religion or region can undertsnad the langauge of bengal. Unless your a minority like chakma people or Khasi....
