i normaly since im a gay christian think things should be handled with love but this was beautiful. this was awesome to see everyone of castro pushing the christians and cops out of their nieghbor hood. the "christians" or so they call themelves came there looking for trouble so they could whine to there congregation and say how militant gays ran over them how gays are so evil they got what they ask for except were not evil i would like to see them try that in black or latino neighborhoods

I think it is obvious by the actions of the crowd that they are powerless...they needed whistles and vulgarity and shouting to once again bring attention to themselves so that they could have their way ....they always want their way!

Chris, you are the one who desperately needs to do research on this seriously deluded and abusive man. Look, I don't have to HOPE i am going to heaven. I didn't choose a "religion". God came to me when I called to Him, and He saved me and gave me life and showed me Love, and now I have a real relationship with the living God, Jesus. You can too. It would be nice if ALL were going to Heaven but that's not the case. These gays and lesbians purposely deny Christ by their life style and by their actions they deny themselves eternal life with Christ. Jesus died for ALL who believe in him and DO His will by following the 10 Commandments.

Im not saying ALL are going to heaven. I know they are not, but I don't want to celebrate that. I want to love them and pray for them so that they may know the Love that Christ has for them and so they can turn to Jesus as they are. Then, as they pursue a relationship with Christ, they cant help but change. The 10 commandments are great, but the commandments Jesus gives for us today is LOVE GOD and LOVE OTHERS.

Point well taken and understood. The truth is many homos eventually get fed up with the life style because it's fruitless, promiscuous and unhealthy. Many die of aids or live with diseases like herpes and syphilis. Some even convert back to Christianity, thank God.

God said they were too wicked, whatever their sin was, and even though He wished He didnt have to, destroying them was what was best at that time.

They need to pray for themselves and maybe next time pray that if they stage a protest in other people's (whom the consider not human enough to have the same rights as everyone else) community without a permit that it the fundies who are breaking the law. You can only assemble in public protests with a PERMIT. JHOP has spent too much money supporting Prop 8 and not enough helping the poor. Jesus would be ashamed. Shame on your hate and lack of compassion.

You don't know JHOP. This was not a protest or had anything to do with Prop 8. They were just praying and worshiping God together there in Castro, like they have been doing for months. They are full of compassion and have nothing but LOVE for the homosexuals, whom they consider as human and in need of a Savior and they are. JHOP was part of rallies that supported Prop 8. They are involved with seriously deranged organizations like Joel's Army that want to spread a message of intolerance. Every action they do to "convert" homosexuals is part of larger movement to strip basic rights from the gay community. And to do so in the gay community epicenter is simply a direct assault on the gay commnity. No matter what their passive aggressive means are, they are treating gay men and women as subhuman and unwarthy of rights

If you were a serious Christian you would disassociate from them and their message (which according to founder Lou Engel is to stone and kill gays who will not convert). TheChris, and that is his PROBLEM. Dominionist are people who believe America should be a theocracy (similar to the way the Taliban wanted Afghanistan to be a theocracy). Lou Engel's views that America should be ruled by any specific religious belief is in direct contradiction to the intent of our Founding Fathers and is in direct violation of the Constituton. A man who goes out of his way to move to another state, recruits a young "martyrs" to overturn laws is trying to invoke theocratic rule.
