Lanois also produced U2's "Unforgettable Fire", " The Joshua Tree" and "Achtung Baby", Peter Gabriel's "So ", Bob Dylan's "Oh Mercy" and "Time Out of Mind", Emmy Lou Harris' "The Wrecking Ball" and many, many more. He also has issued several albums of his own. He has an eclectic style that incorporates various and odd musical instruments. A veritable musical genius IMHO.

I remember being 14 when this song was released in the Netherlands in '87/88. It got constant airplay on a mainstream radio channel and I didn't like this track at all. Now it's become one of my fav tracks of all time. It's amazing.
