@joolswatsham for an idea, everyone is talking about the 3DS, and most of your games are aiming for the more matured people. so i have to agree, Dementium 3D would be a huge step for your company, because your most popular game in your library so far is Dementium, for it's graphics, monsters, and overall scaryness.
if done right, Dementium 3D will be the game the teens and adults will be waiting for on the 3DS. just imagine, you will feel like William exploring the halls. monsters coming at you

Haha since I played DeadSpace, I got this idea of a DeadSpace game for the DS (DS:DS perhaps ? haha) first I though about a Onrails shooter (that work quite well for me on the DS ) but then you came with Dementium and later Dementium II to show what the DS is capable of in the right hands .... So maybe something like DeadSpace ? or anything else with zombies ? haha (I LOVE zombies ) ...
Also a RTS game like RUSE ? for 3DS will be interesting with all the 3D, ñ_Ñ

I know it's probably not a big seller, but I'd love to see a shooter, as in a shoot 'em up or bullet hell, that uses different levels/planes in 3D environments. Almost like a deeper take on the formula in Ikaruga. More than merely shifting colors, you could shift between planes.
I thought the Nanostray games were really solid. Something like that, but with a little more bullets, more akin to Cave shooters.
Personally I would really like to see a good Western developed open world RPG on a hand held. Something along the lines of Elder scrolls series or fallout 3.. Obviously not within those worlds, but with a general type of game play taken from that.
Doesn't have to be complex, a simple character creator, a nice world to explore and such. Real time fighting, not turn based. Could be 3rd person or 1st. That's kinda been my dream hand held game for some time now.
For starts, I think it would be a good idea to not focus on using the 3D aspect, at least not right away. I think it'd be pretty nifty to use the 3D effect to make puzzle objects stand out more, or make the HUD stand out.
As for specific games, it's been forever since I've played a really great sci-fi action-RPG. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming soon, sure, but that's only going to last me for so long. ;3
personally id like to see more artsy and psych horror types...and since you have done so well on dementium and have a nice rep for quality it would be a good fit. examples would be silent hill or theresia (check this out if you havent already)...basically all im sayin is you guys nailed the technical aspects of the ds in ways others either could or would not...and I have no doubts you can do it again on the next system...so why not flex some more creative muscle and really disturb us in 3D!

I duno if i want a FPS but more of a 3rd person dementium game. FPS is getting boring... Especially when you own a home console(PS360 or maybe even Wii)
I want Dementium III and I'd also like to see a new installment for Moon.
Dementium III could be more action orientated, survival horror FPS, and definetelly with online multiplayer.
As for Moon I'd like it to be kind of Metroid Prime, First Person Adventure you know. With some 2012 Doomsday plot behind it. Maybe the game could feature the same charachters and be called MARS! You could start a franchise here. You could do a game for every interesting planet. I can't wait for SATURN.
Almost feel like doing a whole GDD on this but I'll summarise.
First-person-shooter, but the player has a jet-pack. That way you can have fast-paced aerial combat but with FPS controls (like FreeSpace), and have normal ground based gameplay as well.
I know an FPS isn't too original, but it will probably be the best genre to exploit 3D technology, and having fast-paced aerial combat will be a hell of a unique selling point.
I'd like an achievement system like you know it from microsofts xbox live, a better online-play system, full downloadable games, REAL online shooters (12 to 18) players, lots of personal setting options oh and ecspecially a Dementium 3-D!
A suggest that Dementium 3 or Moon 2 will be the project codenamed Face, because on the packages there always were Faces and the 'new' system may be the 3DS. And the release at the end of 2011 would be compatible too.
A third-person shooter would be epic on the 3DS. I noticed how hard it was to perceive depth while playing Uncharted. The 3DS would really be a good TPS handheld.
Oh, lots of stuff. Love to see some dropped series from Wii get a second wind on 3DS; Elebits, for one. It got a DS game with different gameplay, which came out the same week as Moon, if I remember correctly..... Anyway, I still thought the DS Elebits had great gameplay, but I crave more of that physics engine playground, hide & seek gameplay from the Wii game.
I forgot to mention with my comment concerning FPS', if made, it would be sweet, and I mean SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET if we had cross and in-gaming voice chat, leaderboards and what not. AH!

An arena shooter. I'm not talking multiplayer, I'm saying big room or map with waves and waves of enemies that you just mow down for hours on end. Ever play the freeware game "Infinite Combat"? I want that.
A 2D platformer with engaging 3D visuals. Using background effects and lots of attractive colors. You know, I think I would want a platformer/beat 'em up using a musical beat system (ALA Mother 3's combat style). You should try that, at least as an experiment. I love me some 2D graphics with 3D Environments.
A real survivor horror would be cool. Stalker type game where you play as a helpless character being followed by the murder. Kinda like Haunting grounds Or the old point and click clock tower game (Watch Clocktower Remothered for what Im talking about)
It would be appreciated since you guys are really good creating horror games and the stalker type survival horror haven't been played in years. :)
What I want is not so much things for the 3DS, mainly cause I see Nintendo just tagging along on the whole gimmick that is 3D, but I just want to see more games from you guys as the Dementium games are awesome! @IRSPONGEBOB I see your point but the fact is that they've put out the DS, then the DS lite, the DSi, then the DSi XL, and now are fixing on putting out the 3DS. I understand they have to make money but personally I think they would've made more money had they more or less combined the DS lite and DSi, keeping the GBA slot and adding a microSD slot as well as the better wi-fi. I just think they've put out too many handhelds in such a short of a time.

@RegdarKhrast That doesn't really have anything to do with my reply, lol. But I do agree that they released the new models for the DS very quickly. However, the 3DS is the successor to the DS, not a new model. Which is why 3DS games won't work on the DS.
@RegdarKhrast basicly theyve only put out 2 ds's. ds and dslite are the same, dsi and dsi xl are the same, so its only two, like in the case of the dsi and the xl, its honestly just a choice, they are both exactly the same, just some people rather a big screen, some rather portability.

I want what Metroid Prime Hunters was supposed to be; a first person game with a big open world to explore, things to collect, and a story to piece together. Something like that /Fallout 3ds.
Or, I'd like to see a Mirror's Edge game that utilizes the 3D in a way that improves the platforming.
A Majora's Mask remake. With the Ocarina of Time remake already announced, a lot of the character models, lines of code, sound effects engine, etc. will be already done.

I'd say the top genres I'd love to see would be stuff like an action-platformer of some kind, like the Castlevania or mega man games, a real-time stragety game, a 3rd person shooter, a beat'em up like final fight, or a car combat game like Vigilante 8. :D
You guys are good at first-person shooters, and I haven't heard of any for 3DS yet. Considering what you've done in the FPS space on DS, I think you could do something amazing with the genre on the much more powerful 3DS. Also I think the FPS genre would benefit much more from 3D than most other genres.
I think all genres can benefit on the 3DS somehow, but I want to see a new design philosophy adopted by developers. I want games to be modeled after the likes of games from the 32/64 bit era, games like Mario 64 and Goldeneye. These games are remembered so fondly because of how they represented non-linear, large, immersive game worlds from the time as opposed to today's cinematic, linear, and unreplayable experiences. Dementium's sense of openness is why I liked it, and I hope to see more of it.
im not even going to say it, cause its what expected but truely dementium the ward 3 using the 3ds graphics compatibility, since it was one of the few first person game that looked good on the handheld.
other games i would say more first person shooters and action adventure games.
I'd like to see more brawlers on the 3DS. Something like Dynasty Warriors, except it doesn't suck like DW. A weapons based combat game in 3D would be awesome.
I want to see radiant silvergun a 3d puzzle game that use the motion controlls for moving in and out of the a 3d play zone and a classic horror game that is only in 3d when the enemy is attacking
i want soem clever puzzle game in a point and click kind of fassion. With use withe the 3d technologi and the motion sensing it could be an amasing experience.
The stereo typical horror FPS type game, say like a cheesy title including 3DS instead of just 3, dementium 3, then again I ay just be pathetic, I mainly enjoy the adventuring aspect of games, finding secrets, etc, but I enjoy a good platformer more then often, favorite type would be a nice free roam game where I can shoot or kill something in the mean time, and the characters always have something to tell me, even if it's just HI 50 times in a row
A 'The World Ends With You' sequel would be nice, its one of the few games that really tried to incorporate all of the DS's hardware gimmicks into game play without cumming off as cheap one trick ponys. The camera and wifi features of the 3DS would be particularly interesting to see implemented, maybe with custom holo pins to share over a network.
I'm sure FPS games will fill out soon after launch(but probably not on launch day), and those should be good. But part of me wants to see if they can make some sprite-based 3D games, such as was seen on Virtual Boy, but perhaps with Wario Land Shake It or WayForward's detail of animation. I don't quite want everything to be polygons and 3D environments and throw away 2D sprite games completely, but I want to know that they can use the GCN-power and Stereo-3D strengths of the system well first.

I want what Metroid Prime Hunters was supposed to be; a first person game with a big open world to explore, things to collect, and a story to piece together. Something like that /Fallout 3ds.
Or, I'd like to see a Mirror's Edge game that utilizes the 3D in a way that improves the platforming.

I'd say the top genres I'd love to see would be stuff like an action-platformer of some kind, like the Castlevania or mega man games, a real-time stragety game, a 3rd person shooter, a beat'em up like final fight, or a car combat game like Vigilante 8. :D

You guys are good at first-person shooters, and I haven't heard of any for 3DS yet. Considering what you've done in the FPS space on DS, I think you could do something amazing with the genre on the much more powerful 3DS. Also I think the FPS genre would benefit much more from 3D than most other genres.

I think all genres can benefit on the 3DS somehow, but I want to see a new design philosophy adopted by developers. I want games to be modeled after the likes of games from the 32/64 bit era, games like Mario 64 and Goldeneye. These games are remembered so fondly because of how they represented non-linear, large, immersive game worlds from the time as opposed to today's cinematic, linear, and unreplayable experiences. Dementium's sense of openness is why I liked it, and I hope to see more of it.

im not even going to say it, cause its what expected but truely dementium the ward 3 using the 3ds graphics compatibility, since it was one of the few first person game that looked good on the handheld.
other games i would say more first person shooters and action adventure games.

Personally, I just want a new Castlevania on it. Although, I'd probably pick up just about any key/ability-finding side scroller with 3D paralaxing.

The stereo typical horror FPS type game, say like a cheesy title including 3DS instead of just 3, dementium 3, then again I ay just be pathetic, I mainly enjoy the adventuring aspect of games, finding secrets, etc, but I enjoy a good platformer more then often, favorite type would be a nice free roam game where I can shoot or kill something in the mean time, and the characters always have something to tell me, even if it's just HI 50 times in a row

A 'The World Ends With You' sequel would be nice, its one of the few games that really tried to incorporate all of the DS's hardware gimmicks into game play without cumming off as cheap one trick ponys. The camera and wifi features of the 3DS would be particularly interesting to see implemented, maybe with custom holo pins to share over a network.

I'm sure FPS games will fill out soon after launch(but probably not on launch day), and those should be good. But part of me wants to see if they can make some sprite-based 3D games, such as was seen on Virtual Boy, but perhaps with Wario Land Shake It or WayForward's detail of animation. I don't quite want everything to be polygons and 3D environments and throw away 2D sprite games completely, but I want to know that they can use the GCN-power and Stereo-3D strengths of the system well first.

Most of the games I want on the 3DS have already been confirmed; Street Fighter, Paper Mario, Resident Evil, et cetera.
The one thing that's missing, is a 3DS iteration of the Dementium franchise.
