Yes this is a reason to bring our boys home, but at the same time haing them over there doing the work that they do gives us the benefits of living in a country where we dont have to worry about things that other do.
my husband and i skyped during the birth of our first son, as well...it was quite the memorable labor and delivery. My husband was serving in South Korea during my entire pregnancy and birth of our son.
Very heart-warming...how at the end everything gets a little patriotic twist...
"The sacrifice this family is going through for our own freedom" makes me wanna throw up right in the friggin host's face. Now, I do know that this is a HUGE sacrifice. but the damn media must finally stop selling us the idea of soldiers "protecting OUR freedom" overseas. The small-time terrorists they actually catch don't make up for the civilian casualties of war which are so comfortingly called "collateral damage"
@MrsCook10 oooh, how charming! if you are not able to take criticism (which wasn't even directed at you), feel free to shut the fuck up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! btw: i stand behind that mission and i know that they are doing a lot of good things over there, too. i can, however, only repeat myself: if you have nothing to contribute to a discussion. keep it shut. it's as simple as it gets, isn't it?
I dont want to jinx anything, but that man can be sent out back to war, and never see his child again......then his child can grow up and see this video, its all F*ckd up...War Sucks
@BufferOverflowAttack I believe we should bring our troops home when conditions permit and the job is complete. However, I think the fact that this soldier was able to actually come home and see his baby boy is truly a blessing!
@BufferOverflowAttack Our soldiers/marines/seamen/airmen choose to do this. There is no draft. They are VOLUNTEERS. That's what makes them such an amazing group of people. Saying bring them home means you would like to take their jobs away from them. Either that, or you want to pay taxes so that they can do nothing. Our military understands what they are getting into when they sign that contract. They don't need to be babied. They VOLUNTEER to protect all Americans, including their families.
wow this brought tears to my eyes lol

That is the most adorable little boy i've ever seen. I'm so glad that he got to somehow be there while his wife was giving birth to his son.
