well for my smokey eye look i use liquid black eyeliner and than white and black eye shadown . whitee in the inner and black and the outer , i dont like pencil cause for me it smudges an eveything , but your waay is pretty too [:

the only thing with my eyes is that when i put eyeliner in my water line, it comes of almost instantly because i blink lots. but my friend has really nice eyes and it stays on perfectly :/

You could try tightlining: putting eyeliner on the upper waterline as well. That way when you blink, whatever you have on the lower waterline won't rub onto the top.

I was told by my optometrist never to put eyeliner on the inside of my eye; your eyelashes are there to keep things out, doing so may cause a serious infection.. But otherwise, I liked the eyeshadow techniques used.

I did not like this look on that model. It made her look much older. I think she would have been better with light makeup, she has such a natural beauty to her face this type of makeup really takes away from her. the technique was interesting though.

Sure , but thats the point , not everyone can "wear" smokey eyes, most women look much older with dark colours. More highlights can "open" the eye again, so it will not look small and tired;)

Hi simplymusic00, the colors used in this smokey eye tutorial would work for you. The best shadow colors for hazel eyes are pinks, browns, plum browns and occasionally greens. With greens, keep it to brownish greens. The eye makeup in my Scarlett Johannson tutorial would work well on your hazel eyes. I love hazel eyes! katie

I used a makeup brush cleaner, ant brand will do. make sure you rinse them well and let them air dry before using them again. I think it is good to clean your brushes often, especially eye makeup brushes. Katie

Hi phirarockz, The Smokey Eye Look is great for darker skin because you can really be dramatic with the application and darkness of the eyeshadow colors. I would recommend black and charcoal grey or dark blues mixed with the black kohl eyeliner. Thx, Katie

Hi - just watched your video and it has given me some great tips and help - I am convinced I can not wear eyemakeup, but maybe seeing how it is done will help. One question, when my eyes are open the top lid touches the upper part of the eye, so if I try and use eyeliner it ends up making a mark on the skin of my upper eye - hope that makes sense - any tips on how to stop that happening or a type of eye liner that won't do that. Hi wishingparis, the eyeliner and mascara are by Rimmel. The eyeshadow is by Quo but I believe this brand is only available in Canada. L'oreal makes some great eyeshadows in these colors. The lipgloss is also by Rimmel as was the metallic silver eyeshadow used in the center of the eye. Thx, Katie

Thats so funny, I WAS going to mention that too but I decided not to. But I can totally see that she has natural pink color in her lips. My problem is that mine are super pigmented and I wouldn't be able to pull off a nude gloss without it looking dark pink!! Thats what makes us all interesting, right?! :D
