The photo shows Taliban executing a woman in Kabul stadium. Taliban came to power following the 1980s Afghan-Soviet War. The US supported the Mujahadeen, some of whom became Taliban. The USSR had entered Afghanistan in the early 80s in support of Afghanistan's leftist gov.

I'm no fan of David Horowitz, but I certainly think he has a right to voice his opinion and have an "Islamo-fascism awareness week" because there is also an "Israel Aparthied week" on college campuses. You have to have the counter weight if you're going to have any claim of fairness.

We need balance for political ideas and we should have greens, dems, republicans, libertarians and many others actually have a fair and equal forum for national elections and local ones. Both believe in the same principles, if not the same god. They are willing to deny rights to average citizens. Many have resorted to violence. The general public is good at keeping the Christo-fascists in check, yes, but it wasn't always that way, and it can be that way again if we don't recognize what kind of problem they are. look at the Taliban and ask what makes Pat Robertson different than them.

I will tell you this though, if it was up to Horowitz, I would bet that an Arab Muslim would have been put to death for Oklahoma City, even with Tim McVeigh was guilty of it. Christians in Europe killed tons of Pagans for refusing Batism. The Spanish murdered millions of Natives for not converting to Christ. I think that is enough.

It does in fact say that in the Koran, that unbelievers should be commanded to convert, and if they don't they should be killed.
